These quick and easy to follow recipes are becoming my staples. I'm in the UK and have a son with autism. My husband and myself have one night a week for a date night. I love to cook but don't want to be in the kitchen all night so you're recipes are a revelation. The Hokkien noodles, curries and now this. Love it.
Ohh.Wow-wow🤗,..Absolutely another amazing😍😋 & awesome pailla fried rice recipes you hv just shared here, & I can't wait to try it out this recipe! Thanks for sharing💓🙏 & hope to get connected👈👉 as always!✌🙏🤝
Awesome mate‚ can you show us how you make demi glace especially since it takes so much and how do you manage your time with it since i don't know and don't think it's safe to keep it on the stove overnight
@@ChefJackOvens glad to hear that i used to work as a waiter and since i tried this sauce and saw how tasty it is especially when you make your own stock from that moment it totally changed
What region would you consider this dish to be from i’m learning different pilaf recipes and I need to know where they come from for personal cookbook purposes
Dude, I believe this tastes great (if it's done by you then it's great with no doubts) but that's not pilaf at all. I'd rather say this is some kind of a "view" on pilaf. Traditional one is cooked like really different. I tried pilaf from different origin (Caucasian is one of the best) but again, this can't be called pilaf.
Dude, as long as it’s got rice in it, it’s already a pilaf. There are many different recipes of pilaf around the globe. There are ignorant people around, so what… BTW, in Australia very similar style of pilaf is taught on commercial cookery course cert III and IV. Now, what’s your qualifications in this field, to be able to casually pass comments like that to a qualified chef?
@@zheckav ok, lets call it sushi rolls then. It's got rice in it too so why not? Anyway, read my comment again, maybe you'll see that i called it "some kind of a view on pilaf" which means this can be called pilaf too but the TRADITIONAL one is cooked in different way.
Just going to chuck my 2 cents in here and say that because it’s cooked a different way doesn’t mean it’s a completely different dish or a view on it. Tandoori chicken is traditionally cooked in a tandoor oven but 1% of people would have one yet the dish is still called tandoori chicken regardless of the way it’s cooked due to its ingredients. This is rice pilaf.
@@ChefJackOvens ok, you're the chef here, lets just end this debate. Anyway, I've been to countries where this dish originates from and I really recommend you to try the traditional one, it's really great.

That’s fantastic to hear! I’m so glad you’re enjoying them 🙏🙏
besides the raisins thid is an awesome recipe
Raisins belong in a cardboard box for a morning playtime snack. Anywhere else they should be shot on sight.
Use currants they’re way better
@@ChefJackOvens In the middle Asian countries like Uzbekistan famous for their style of pilaf, they traditionally use barberries.
@@ChefJackOvens Currants can be blown to smithereens too.

Delicious. Can you provide the recipe for the meat plssss ❤
It’s on my website www.chefjackovens.com
🤤🤤🤤 Why do people hate raisins in rice? I've had Biryani with raisins and cashew nuts in restaurants, and they are so good!
Thank you so much

Chicken/beef stock
Do you have a video of the chicken burger that you posted on Instagram?
It’s the next video coming 😊
Raisins?
I cook it with the meat, but I guess just using broth works just as well
My brain 3 seconds into listening to this video: 📝 🤯
These recipes are on my website 🙏
Where. Are. The. Noodles?
It’s rice pilaf
Anyone has the recipe please
Over on my website - www.Chefjackovens.com
I get notifications for your long videos but not the short ones, weird.
For some reason RUclips doesn’t send out notifications for the short videos
First add cumin seeds let them crack in hot oil then add onion.
Just dont add raisins it makes it sweet it taste better when not sweet
Pival is chicken with rice... Serbian dish
It’s pilaf
i didnt understand all the spices you said due to your accent 😭
Why raisins! 🥴
Raisins, cranberries, currants. Pretty much any dried fruit. It can also be left out if you prefer
You lost me when you added the raisins.
Pulao it is😂😂
😂 That works.
It does
Lost me at the raisins 🤢.
dont add them
Lost me with the raisins
Don’t add them
It's not pilaf it's plov..
Palao, pulao, pilao, plov, polo etc.. same thing, different pronunciations
