I never got the chance to get these dolls and everytime I look for them online they're ridiculously overpriced. I wish they put them in Walmart more and made them more accessible. It makes me so mad how Mattel never listens to their fans
I was never able to get them even in USA. I really wanted them. While I’m excited by the prospect of the school out reproduction lineup… they really need to improve their production and distribution of these dolls. I hope that Mattel can fallow the example of how Bratz have been doing their reproductions and make them not only WIDELY available but still keep them at a reasonable price and of course restocking them when needed and asked for it by their own fans. I also hope that they will create another reissue of this first lineup of Monster High so the fans can enjoy these as much as we wanted to for the initial release of creeproductions. I also want the same reissue of the Reel Drama lineup. I’m sure you heard all that before many times but that doesn’t mean it isn’t how things should go forward for all creeproduction dolls.
i’m really hoping that the schools out reproductions have better distribution!!! hopefully mattel learned their lesson with how many people were upset with them selling out so fast!!! i mean they did listen to fans about the bot issue on mattel creations! so them listening to fans on this issue isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility!!
also! i noticed with the booriginal dolls, repro frankie’s skirt is bit shorter than her first release doll! i was redoing my collection and did a side by side and the difference isn’t noticeable but definitely if u put them side by side they’re a little different
I live in Germany and you could buy them from the german mattel onlineshop for a while, but I got into MH after they were already sold out. They cost around 40€ retail price inlcuding shipping and I got really lucky that someone sold me Frankie with her box and all her accessoires for that price on the secondhand market. Usually the prices are above 55€ at least up to 150€.
I am from France and we obviously never got the creepros in stores. The only way to get them was mattel creation but it was 35euros each and with the shipping it was 45 for only one doll. Now scalpers are selling them for 100euros and that sucks. I wanted to buy a creepro Lagoona to complete my 2010's one but well, I guess she will be forever incomplete. I hate the fact that Mattel only cares about the US, like gen 3 came out in the US months ago and the 1st wave's dolls of gen 3 aren't in french stores yet and not even available on french Amazon. I HATE MATTEL
i think they maybe did one or two instagram posts… but it would’ve been awesome to see like youtube ads, and sponsored instagram and facebook ads and stuff promoting them!! at least they seem to be doing decently better at promoting newer stuff!
Thankfully I was lucky enough to get Drac and Lagoona on their release week in my local Walmart, as for Frankie and Clawdeen, I had to preorder them from Walmart before they skyrocketed in price.
Honestly, I have an almost full original collection (I just need Holt) And almost all of them have Gold elastics. I got lucky and Got ones that actual former collectors owned 😭 So basically I just got Cleo with gold elastics then I was like "Why not try to get a full collection of Gold" So yeah. 💀 My Frankie stein and Clawdeen do have black Elastics but personally I think the black ones somehow hold up worse then the gold idk it could be just mine but the ones with the Gold elastics like their legs are secure 👍 (My original Abby's Black Elastics are close to breaking cause of too much play/Deterioration 💅) So I think that just proves that Gold ones are better 🤷♂️ idk it could be just the ones I have. So yeah the only reason why I wanted to have a full basic Gold elastic collection is because I wanted to make a game to see if I can get all of them with gold cause I heard somewhere that they were hard to come across 💀👍
Here in Brazil they were available for like a month, they were restocked every Friday on the store website, but only a few stores got them, they came really expensive so it was hard to have all of them before they became sold out :O (MH dolls are sold by at least twice their regular price here)
I think the situation with CrepeProductions is pretty sad. I don't understand why mattel made them a walmart exclusive? why is there even g3 in Europe, but they don't import riil drama and repro? this is unfair! most fans of the brand love g1 very much. They were sold very quickly on the Mattel website. At walmart too) I did not have time to order online at a normal price. And at that moment I didn’t have money for dealers’ prices. I don't understand Mattel's logic. monster high g1 especially basic ones are needed in almost all countries, monster high fans are almost everywhere, but dolls were easiest to buy in America .... although not everyone who lived in America could buy them. I was able to buy only Claudine Reel Drama and also not for the original price, but for $75 in Europe.

Honestly other than the price the one i got (clawdeen) had some...issues... Lol her hand broke! But I mamaged to fixed it, her plastic for her legs is rough and the leg joints arent that good\strong BUT I love her, i cried when i got my clawdeen and i really wanna get the others someday...

It’s so weird because Mattel could get so much money from them and yet they don’t make them available. That’s so strange for a money hungry company.
