He plays custom Maton's, guitars made in Melbourne, Australia. They are beaten up because he uses them very percussively including scratching at the side. Not to mention doing 300 gigs a year.

Just note that Richie is using nylon strings so its a little easier for him to play than the others.
If you were to judge these guys on just acoustic guitar talent, then Juber and Emanuel would wipe the floor with Richie.

Wrong in so many ways. And don’t be a fanboy. Richie always plays a steel string acoustic. Also Richie here played the best solo by far. That is not to say Richie can play fingerstyle like Tommy. But then again they are all different type players. Back in these days Richie was in good playing shape that’s all.
