this is what a happy family looks like. You can tell your kids are so secure because of yall's effort to be there present with them!! Look at you making your home a safe place for your kids to thrive and grow in! God bless you
Your advice that everything is a season and to know your season became my mantra and really helped me get through the hardest parts of the newborn stage and the 4 month sleep regression. So take your own advice and be easy on yourself in this hard season. You're an INCREDIBLE mama and you will get through this and you will sleep again!
I feel you on the lack of sleep 🫠 I have 3 kids, May 2020, April 2022 and Feb 2024. That’s why I enjoy watching you since our older two are same age. Basically my firstborn was a great sleeper until randomly one night around 2.5 yo started coming into our room every single night to the point that we gave up. Two months ago we had the older two start sharing a room since the baby needed the nursery. It has been a game changer, my older one stopped coming into our room. I was soo nervous about them having share the room but they absolutely love it. I know you have a cute room for both but maybe that’s an option? I honestly feel like there’s some type of sleep regression that happens when they are 2/3 years old. Just keep reminding yourself that they are little for only a bit and one day they won’t need you at night. Sorry I’m rambling haha
Omg my boys are May 2020, April 2022 and April 2024! The sleep was soo scary for us, too and it's legit been elusive for quite some time now lolol Currently my husband is sleeping with the older two boys in their room (mattresses across the floor LOL) and I'm sleeping with the almost 6 month old. Man we are tired LOL but like you said, it's a blip in time and everyone just gets through it the way they get through it. Only way out is through kinda thing. Good job to you! Good job to us all! xoxo
Glad you’re back! Sometimes breaks are necessary, even if they’re unintentional. Also your videos always make me want to start my own RUclips channel 😅
I 10000% agree i work in retail and we have already set up Christmas and while I enjoy setting everything up and seeing all the new stuff. The “fun” is sucked completely out of the holidays because retail and corporate push the dates back further and further
Same here. I wish they would wait even just a month longer. Seeing Christmas in August is a buzzkill by the time December rolls around. The joy and newness is gone
I hope sleep improves for your family. My daughter is the same age as yours. I had to stop watching your videos a while back because of the jealousy I felt that your daughter slept so well and you and your husband were able to go out and do things or have time together at night. We tried sleep training and it did not work at all. So we still nurse to sleep and transfer and bedtime always takes at least an hour, naps are hard too. I saw your video come up and decided to watch. I’m not happy to hear that sleep has taken a turn for the worst for you guys but I’m thankful that you are sharing the reality of it. I’m sure you feel the pressure to always be positive and keep up the facade that you have it all together but the info and expectation that you put out there for other parents to see can really affect a persons mental health as I’m sure you yourself have felt. Sleepless nights and constant exhaustion are the reality for majority of parents. I realized that it seems like “everyone” online has a baby who sleeps well, independently…I realized it seems that way because the ones with good sleepers have the time and energy to film about it…the rest of us zombie parents could not fathom to add more to our days lol. I appreciate you sharing your parenting journey and I hope you can continue to be real with your viewers during both good and not so good times. Wish you the best!
Lack of sleep is literally the worst thing ever!! My 9 month old hasn’t slept longer than a two and half hour stretch since he was born and I feel like everyday I’m in survival mode. I was feeling bad I hadn’t done boo baskets for my kids but then reminded myself they are little they won’t remember the one year they didn’t get one.
Gosh I can totally relate to the feeling behind! I feel like the fact that soooo many people are sharing Christmas trees in September 😮💨 I totally get it that things sell out fast and you need to create content ahead of time but 😅oof the Christmas in SEPTEMBER is a bit much
I just wanted to share that with my second child (my daughter) we were starting getting horror sleep these days and we just ended up switching her to a big girl bed. Which i was very nervous too because i waited longer with my first child. And now there barely any fuss at bedtime and she sleeps better. Maybe it could help you too 🤍
Do you have a night light for Ekko? I use a red light with my 2 1/2 year old. I also let her sleep with all her stuff animals. Have you looked into the sensory activities before bed. It’s something to do with like pressure points or something, I have not done this but I’ve come across a few videos suggesting this.
The sleep regression is such a killer. I will say I was 100% against the cried out method, but once I got pregnant and we had two under two. I realize the baby has to cry sometimes so you can rest.
I started balling when you opened up about the lack of sleep. My daughter is a couple months younger than Ekko and what you were describing is literally my life, every night. The sleep deprivation makes it a struggle just doing normal things and mind is just a complete blur after so many restless nights. I’m no where near the mom I know I can or want to be. I plan on calling my daughter’s doctor Monday to see if we can be referred to a pediatric sleep specialist (idk if there is even one in the area… I’m just so desperate at this point!) I always find comfort in watching your videos but this one really hit home. I really appreciate you being so honest about everything. I hope things get better for you guys soon & please keep us updated with any helpful tips or tricks that end up working 🤞🏼♥️
Lack of sleep is the worst! You probably have, but has the pediatrician checked for ear infection or something maybe going on medically? Hopefully it's just a phase and done with soon!
Would you consider sleeping with her? I know people avoid it because they don’t want to create that habit, but it really helped me get better sleep during our 2 year old sleep regression.

Have you considered sleep apnea? My son would wake up all hours of the night but after we got his tonsils and adenoids out he sleeps all night.
