Just bought this guitar with a boss katana 50w for 350 both less than a year old from a kid that just didnt end up wanting to play. But got the guitar home and think the output jack or volume pot is shot couldn’t tune it with my korg tuner then tried to put it into amp just feedback no sound from guitar/strings. So i guess let the modding begin.
if you are looking to part with the di marzios i need a pair for my guitar the ones i have are water damaged, the internals are green, im in England and would love to hae them, whats your price?
It had a Duncan Invader bridge pickup in the neck, and a Dimarzio super distortion in the bridge. The Dimarzio sounded pretty good, but that super hot invader was awful in the neck.
Where are you licated? I have this guitar brand new. Want to put in jb's and sh's? Locking tuners? Plus I see your a chevy guy!! #theoriginaldeadpoolcamaro! 👍
@IracesGarage that my #theoriginaldeadpoolcamaro In my profile picture! Hard to see the Deadpool emblem on the quarters, also have maximum effort across top windshield in black on a red vinyl strip with lodo in middle, also back windows have a white Deadpool vinyl face like gas tank! I have a bunch of pics of inside done in red from door handles to arm pads, knee red pads! Have a 73 vette also. 👍
It’s kinda odd what you decided to show us, and what you decided not to show. Why would we wanna watch you wipe on the neck, but not wanna watch you adjust the bass end bridge saddles? It’s just the opposite for me. My dog can sand and polish a neck. But bridge saddles require some finesse. Dude, the complicated stuff IS the show.
I'm thrilled that your dog can do fretwork and I'd definitely love to see that video, but based on all of the used guitars that I've bought, it's the fretwork that people seem to be the most intimidated by, not turning a couple screws on their bridge.
@@IracesGarage Fair enough. Not to mention that this is your channel and you sink or swim by your decisions, not mine or anyone else’s. There must be a reason I watched the entire video, so evidently I liked something about it. It ain’t called the “What Does Wasted Dude Wanna See” show. Sorry if I got too abrasive. It’s how I grew up. Good luck with your channel. Happy Holidays.
Who cares about watching someone twist a screw. Figure it out yourself. You watch youtubers to figure stuff out? Damn. In the 90’s i had to go to the library
@Ottophil Impressive! You went to the library to figure out how to turn a screw! These days, all we do is press a small button to Google how to rebuild engines, how to diagnose and treat major illnesses, how to cook full Thanksgiving dinners, etc. I had no idea so many light years separated our generations! So you walked twenty miles in the snow, often engaging in hand-to-hand combat with trappers, miners, and indians, until you finally got to a library where you sometimes realized you forgot your library card! That's amazing. You really had a very hard life. Or maybe you just had a hard time growing up with contemporaries too stupid to invent the computer.
@@IracesGarage Way too low! I would have snapped it up in a heartbeat. Just saw one of these at a pawn shop today (with a custom killswitch?) and decided to search around on the internet to learn more about it. Your video has me leaning toward going back to pick it up. My first guitar was an Ibanez Silver Cadet. It wasn't great, but I wish I still had it!
This model is still available new. Usually around $275.00-$300.00
Not a bad deal for a workable RG.
This is a great video, was over before I knew it. I’d love to see more content like this in the future, thanks!
Thanks!
I am getting ready to do this to a couple of my guitars. I will use your video as a reference. Definitely do more like this.
Yes! More :)

If you do a video of soldering in the pickups, it will do well. Not many good examples on youtube.
Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, but both pickups sold very quickly on Reverb!
Hey, those guitars aren't that bad. Mine plays pretty good.
This one lived a hard life. I've had a lot of budget Ibanez guitars and most of them were good players, but this one had been through the ringer.
It already had seymor Duncan pickups in it ⁉️

I'm in Vermont. I'm hoping to get some vids of my camaro upgrades posted in the future.

That's 1/16th
The action height? Yes, but typically it's measured in mm or 64ths.
