Even though it’s just a story it was man who blamed God for giving him the woman who had him eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. He never owned up to his mistake. It was the woman who said the serpent beguiled me and I ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. The woman was honest the man would not accept fault. Nor the council of women. Again it’s just a story, but having this isn’t it so. I liked the one statement in the movie “The Crow” “Mother is the name for God on the lips of all children.” Unconditional love says a lot about women and mothers.
Yes, It was Adam’s duty as the head to cover his wife as God covers his bride. That’s why God went directly to Adam to ask him what He had done/allowed. He didn’t go to Eve. Eve did correctly by telling the Truth to God. Eve went to Adam. And it was Adam’s choice and decision ultiately.
