- Not all nanoparticle solutions are created equal. Teen scientist Katie Lu has discovered a way to reduce nanoparticle toxicity by changing their shape. Katie Lu has been an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Finalist in Environmental Sciences, Regeneron Science Talent Search Top 300 Semifinalist, FBLA National Champion in Financial Math, HOSA International Finalist in Biomedical Debate, and NOAA Taking the Pulse of the Planet Award. Her passions include promoting transparency, ethics in science companies, environmental nanotechnology in big business, and the creation and enforcement of regulations on nanotechnology in consumer projects. I've been studying the unlabelled nano-tech in the current 'vax' pandemic globally... nothing good can come from this, except maybe that people start taking care of their own health. Very informative talk I do hope this bright young lady manages to make a positive difference in this arena.

Correct. It is a nanotechnology. The vaccine is based on mRNA, which is something we utilise in nanotechnology. It is in no way dangerous.

I personally chose nanotechnology because it is very versatile. I didn't have to choose a specific branch of science, when I first started, since nanotechnology is multi-disciplined.
It's a good mix of physics, biotechnology, and chemistry, obviously lots of mathematics due to the physics. My university teaches more physics courses in the beginning, as it gives a good foundation for several techniques used, but towards the end of your bachelor you begin branching out in whatever direction you want (nanophysics, nanobiotechnology, material physics and so one). We do still have several chemistry courses before choosing our direction.
Here's a list of courses at each semester (half a year) during my university's bachelor in nanotechnology:
1st: Electrostatics & Electric Circuits, Advanced Calculus, Problem-based Learning
2nd: General & Inorganic Chemistry, Linear Algebra, General Mechanics & Thermodynamics
3rd: Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Electromagnetism, Solid States Physics I
4th: General Quantum Mechanics, Protein Physics, Optics
5th: Nanofabrication, Statistical Mechanics, Solid State Physics II OR Genetechnology
6th you choose between two groups of subjects, either: Chemistry of biological nanostructures, Lab on a Chip
OR: Quantum-electronics, Lab on a Chip, Optoelectronics
We also do one project relating to one of our subjects each semester, chosen by the students.
Note that your college course is probably different, and you should investigate their curriculumc, if you are still interested in nanotechnology. If you have more questions, then feel free to ask!

By fear of microbes and microbial infections, we have created monstruous microbes that do not respond to anything, we have debilitated our immune system, we have created a technology that makes us more fragile, and we have destroyed our capacity to live in a normal environment. How is it even possible to make something that small? I find it hard to believe.
The fearmongering about nanotechnology is so sad. My field of work will help humanity in incredible ways, but people are scared of it, because they know nothing of it. Yes, nanoparticle (NP) toxicity is a problem, but it is not even close to many other problems that nanotechnology can solve.
If you are actually interested in knowing how we make it there are two main groups of techniques. "Top-down" which utilises a bulk material (normal, large material) and then we make it smaller through grinding or laserablation (dislodging stuff via high-energy lasers). The other main group is called "Bottom-up" which utilises small parts (atoms and molecules), and put them together in different ways to make them larger to nano scale. I am currently working on a project, wherein we utilise seed-mediated growth, a form of bottom-up, to create differently sized and shaped metallic nanoparticles to combat bacteria and vira.
She is entirely wrong in there not being much research into toxicity, because there is lots of research on it, but you need to know how and where to look.

Also, stool/feces that is even slightly malodorous indicates that one has toxemia. Toxemia is a disease defined as an abundance of toxins in the body. To rephrase, stinky poo is bad. It is not okay, it is unacceptable. This problem can take several months to several years to correct on a case by case basis.
Helpful pieces of literature include "Heal Yourself 101" by Markus Rothkranz, "Cosmic Detox" by Mantak Chia, and "Taoist Yoga" by Eric Yudelove.
Lastly, the FDA should be separated into the Food administration and the Drug administration. The Food admin should then merge with the dept of agriculture.
