I always get confused whenever they say jelly , because in the uk we call it jam and what you call jello is what we call jelly

No It's not. It's free marketing, Nike spends millions endorsing sports celebrities in order to boost sales and keep the brand fresh. In this day and age is good business for a small doughnut shop to have Seth Rogen coming down for a goodie and in return he gets some freebies. (I'm sure he did not ask for It, money is not an issue for him anymore)
All you need is a picture or blurb on TMZ of a celebrity eating whatever to bring people into your business
Ofcourse not. It's called marketing. You need a famous figure to advertise your product. Why do you think brands hire celebrities to endorse theirs? Easy: publicity.

Munchkins is the trademark name for donut holes Dunkin Donuts uses. Just like Tim Horton's uses the trademark name of Timbits for donut holes. The generic name is actually a donut hole.
