Yes i did, the drum feature is actually really just a collection of my favorite drum parts from all different kinds of shows. It starts similar to how the Cavaliers 2015 snare feature does, i also took inspiration from shows i have played, and i'm a huge fan of mapes writing style and couldnt resist trying to fit them into this. Nice job noticing that!
Now all it needs is some woodwind and brass parts and it's a whole show!! Which would be amazing I would love to see a highschool or college pull it off. Who knows, maybe even drum corp., In which case it would just need brass parts.
Bro, THIS IS AMAZING!!!! I wish that I had the experience to write some brass and woodwind parts for this so I could play this, with my high school or with the RCC Marching Tigers. I freaking love this. You honestly should write for some really big indoor groups or Drum Corps/High School or College Marching bands! Keep on writing music brotha, you have a bright future ahead of you!
At the time of me writing this comment i have not written out stickings for any of the drum parts but I can assure you that all of the parts were written with stickings in mind. If enough people want the sheets then i Will write them out and leave a link to it in the comments! For the time being you can try to make up your own stickings to the sheets in this video.
Yo do you want to help me write an indoor show for my high school for next year? I can write the battery parts I just need a front ensemble writer and I love muse too and I have a plan to use a one of their songs in the repertoire

This is awesome! I loved every second of it. Part one was very energetic Part two was great with the dynamics and the decrescendo and sudden crescendo at the end was nice! Part three was so amazing, I absolutely loved it. I can tell your knowledge of front ensemble and drumline grew when you got to this part. Like, this part flows the best than the other two parts, but I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it's a great improvement. This show is amazing! The only thing I disliked is that some bass drum/cymbal parts were getting cut off at the bottom. I found that the best way to fix that is to right-click the score with a mouse, click page settings, and adjust the scaling and margins.
Thank you so much man! Im so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. If you thought that sounds good then i think you would love to hear some of the new arrangements ive posted. So I am actually writing my own indoor show based off of some edm songs and I just wanted to ask a few questions: what software did you use? What parts are there? and what is your best advice for the parts to be coherent throughout the show? Thanks!
I used(and still do) musescore 3 with the drumline extension installed. In this show I had 2 marimbas, 1 vibe, 1 xylo, 1 bells, 1 bass guitar, a piano/synth, auxilary percussion, snare, tenor, bass, and marching cymbals but i would recommend writing for a larger front ensemble if you want your show to sound more full and complete then mine, multiple times i had wished i had more keyboard parts but was too far into the project to add them in. An i hate to say this but i dont really have much good advice for making this sound coherent. My main instrument is snare drum so writing out the keyboard parts took up a majority of my time just trying to figure out how/what would sound good. The best i can say is dont be afraid to start parts over, many times i had something decent that i wasnt happy with that i decided to completely scrap and try again. sometimes it wouldnt work out and i would go back to what i had, but other times i loved the new part and was very happy. Sorry that this is all i can help you with but im only a sophmore in highschool and im really not the greatest when it comes to music theory since the only instrument i play is percussion. Non the less i hope this helps you in some way and id love for you to send me your finished show when you complete it so i can give it a listen! One other thing i would just like to tell you is that if you ever need inspiration for parts, listen to some of the works this guy has made in this link. He writes the drum parts at my Highschool. He is an incredibly talented man and i took a lot of inspiration from his writing. soundcloud.com/frankieburke

@@parkerhewett6731 I made that part triplets simply because i thought the main theme was too simple and repetitive, i thought the triplets made it sound a little more exciting than just eighth notes up and down.
