I don't understand why some guys do that honestly. I was thinking maybe it's their way of training themselves to not look at their hands, like to make their fret hand and picking hand work without the need of sight to become more fluid and second nature, or perhaps it's just their way of flexing on you, like saying "yeah, I can play this without even using my peripheral vision, I'm just going to stare at you and not blink the entire time to show how good I can play this" lol some of my buddies who have this habit also have that mentality 😂 And me, if I'm playing something to where I don't need to look at my hands, I don't know, I look up, or I'll look out to the right, like where I look around you know kind of changes. I also do vocals, so maybe that's where my habit comes from of not just staring at the other guitarist or whatever 🤷🏿
@@BillBraskyy For sure. You just made me realize the relevance of many memories, while I'm playing and really getting into "the zone" sometimes I'm looking at my hands, sometimes I'm not. But in these moments it really doesn't matter what my eyes are doing because all my focus is in the sound, and the feeling of my hands. I remember many times talking to my dad while he was playing, at point blank range, with continuous eye contact. It wasn't till I developed musically that I understood that not only did he not hear what I said, but he didn't even fully know he was looking at me sometimes. 🤣 I've done the same thing back at him numerous times more recently
This arrangement is absolutely brilliant, but the vocals don't sound anything like Frank. The vibrato doesn't even sound human. Serious "uncanny valley" vibe. Really phenomenal, otherwise.
Yeah, the vocals sound like they're not the same pitch that Frank usually sings in, including other AI covers that sound more like Frank. Also, another thing. I notice how in this version, Frank seems so sing "Mastor", "fastor" and "laughtor".

Sorry, but this sounds nothing like Frank Sinatra. The inflections and slides, the timbre, everything, if fact, is nothing like the great master himself. Not surprising, really, since this is just Robyn Adele Anderson filtered and mashed up to get her voice into the range of Sinatra's. AI really isn't all that it's cracked up to be -- yet!
