Using a Drawplate to Draw Round Wire to Rectangular or Square

Here is my class demonstration on how to taper file 14 or 16 gauge wire, and use a specifically-shaped drawplate and draw tongs to pull it through. This will change the wire from its original wire shape, to either the square or triangular shapes I have here. You can change the gauge, as well, by continuing the process.

haha I don't usually 'air file,' (I nag my students about that all the time!) but since this 14g wire is half-hard, I do, because it stays straight when using a nice, toothy #0 file.
