Malaysia has a rich history.culture.colorful festivals and variety of food.on the eve of Mid Autumn Festival.I wish all Chinese People around the world good health and a happy family reunion. thanks Elmo Lee & Danny Loke for sharing. 🇲🇾 🤝 🇸🇬 🙏 .
Thank you for your very informative information on Teluk Anson ... you and Danny are 最佳拍檔 ! Teluk Anson has so many great food ... i guess its a aplace where it must be on a to-visit list ! Keep those video coming !
I am a ex-Teluk Intan 70 yrs old resident, been more than 10 years since I return to my hometown, now a resident of KL. Glad to know that you are former resident of my hometown and do an update on the town. You miss the Big prawn malay restarant near the river. Their big prawn are caught fresh from nearby river.
Telok Intan also known as Telok Anson in the hey days has a lot to offer to visiting tourists. I studied in St. Anthony until 1978 and later migrated to PJ but I still go back there for my fishing trips famous for its udang galah (giant freshwater prawns). This is where the last of all the major Perak rivers merged before going into the sea and it is one of the best fishing spots there. I still go for the local Chee Cheong Fun, Asam laksa and famous ABC drinks. Don't forget to order the fresh river or sea fishes and the big Udang galah dishes if you visit the local restaurants there.
Hi Elmo , again your history introduction of our Malaysian towns is the best 👍👍👍 I think you better pass the food part to your best buddy Danny 😂😂😂 ! Will definitely check out the glutinous rice , Teluk Anson oldest nasi kandar and your cousin's kopi o kaw 😋 Continue the good job Elmo , thanks 👍🙏
@@malaysiafood328 Always watched to the end la ( only sometimes fast forward if the food is not my type of food 😅) especially the intro in beginning ❤ Appreciate the effort to bring us so many videos 👍
Teluk Intan - this episode does looks fresh and featured new food stalls and restaurants. I’m surprised that there are many ‘original and old taste’ food / dishes featured in this video. Can’t help but to say that this time Elmo ( and also together with Danny ) covered almost all nationalities cuisine and they were all mouth watering good 👍🏽. Yatt Lau ! Mou Tak Deng ! The beginning historical illustration was also brilliantly done- with good remembrance of old buddy days and Teluk Anson ( Intan) brief historical briefings. I would say this episode is worth the efforts as they were not only refreshing but offers us good places to dine / eat when at Teluk Anson ( I still refer it as Telok Anson as I am use to it 😊). Thank you Elmo ( and also to Danny ) and wishing both of you a Very Happy and Peaceful Mid Autumn Festival !!! 🥮
Thanks for sharing, if uncle elmo ever goes back there, I'd recommend trying Uda Nasi Lemak Station opposite the Lotus, I love their nasi lemak ayam goreng
Poh long if back during weekend .... if u go there like normal dinner hours, dream of getting a seat! LOL.... the "JIONG MEE/YTF sauce noodles" beside the glutinous rice in Jln Maharani also pretty nice!
This episode reminds me of a very rare trip of mine to Teluk Anson a few years back. On my way there my car collided with an oncoming car, which I had to fork out quite a bit to get my car fixed so as to compensate my "victim". A blessing in disguise, none of us were injured and all the good foods enjoyed in Teluk Anson were treated by my local friend there, couldn't thank him enough indeed. Colonialism is something disgraceful no doubt, but to call a spade a spade, the British was more humane, efficient and far sighted than its many counterparts then, such as the Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish, or even much better than those who are running their own countries now right after gaining independence from the British. What's wrong to have the place to name after Sir Archibald Edward harbors Anson, since he had made massive changes to the modern day of Teluk Anson?
