To explain Geto’s situation, I think it’s important to understand the timeline:
2006: Gojo’s past arc happens, that’s when Riko dies; Geto thinks Gojo died; he sees people celebrating her death and sees Gojo almost lose himself.
2007: Geto spends the year working on solo missions since Gojo was too strong to be accompanied. Gojo becomes the strongest. Geto is left behind alone, constantly consuming humanity’s worst (curses come from negative emotions), witnessing the cruelties, deaths, and injustice that befall sorcerers. He has a conversation with Yuki, where she summarises two ways he could live his life; Haibara dies; he sees the girls being tortured, and THAT’S his last straw, when makes the choice of how he wants to live. Then he kills an entire village and becomes a wanted criminal. He’s about to turn 18 when he begins his cult, his goal is to create a world where sorcerers don’t have to suffer.
*during ten years, he isn't caught, and his cult gets more and more powerful. He has non-sorcerers adoring him, and getting him money. He has a group of sorcerers as his followers, that he calls his family. He raised the tortured girls pretty much as his daughters.
2017: The JKK0 movie happens. Yuta becomes a sorcerer and uses Rika, a special-grade curse. Geto wants to have Rika as part of his arsenal so he can destroy the jujutsu society’s structure and later fulfill his goal. So he declares war and carries out what is later called the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons on December 24th, releasing a great portion of his curses in Kyoto and Shinjuku. But that’s only a distraction so he can go to Jujutsu High in Tokyo and kill Yuta. He has his right arm blown off in the fight and decides to flee, planning on coming back but this time better prepared. But he encounters Gojo in an alley, has a conversation with him, where Gojo says a phrase we don’t know, and then Gojo allegedly kills Geto (27 yrs old). We don’t see Gojo killing him tho, we don’t see the body, there’s only a sound. We don’t know how much time has passed; it could be 2 or even 40 minutes when Gojo appears with his students as if nothing happened.
2018: In June, the first season happens, and Geto appears but with stitches on his head.
In October, this episode happens. On Halloween, October 31st, the Shibuya Incident will happen.

Daaaaaaamn this is how yuji got his technique (soul transfer) he ain't even know about his technique like that kid "kenjaku" his technique is soul transfer the kid didn't understand his technique (like the comedian) because the conditions weren't right and that was hilarious to sukuna since the CT is so OP if used right and at some point he learned to RCT (or use) soul transfer from kenjaku (finger) but it failed because of fucking YUJI being his son with the same damn technique coincidentally stopping him from controlling yuji and using the soul🤣

Yuji's VA when asked about this episode said that it was the last episode with a funny/happy atmosphere. Take in all the good times now. Because Gege is an absolute menace. Man does not know where the brakes are. So happy Mahito is back. I love his playful and simultaneously cruel nature. Coupled with the fact that he's an antagonist who is currently learning and growing as he fights. This is going to be a wild ride.

Mechamaru's situation sucks right now because even if he wins against Mahito the bigger threat by far is still Geto, Mechamaru has the power and skill of a first grade but that doesn't stand a chance a gainst a special grade like Geto.
Actually His Output and lethality is that of a special Grade, He just lacks the other needed traits a special grade usually has like a domain expansion and Reverse Cursed Technique

Despite it being funny/ridiculous, I think the main character from Human Earthworm 4 is represent Yuji. He became a “monster” & feels like he doesn’t belong & can’t be loved because of it. Overall, loved your excitement for this episode & series!

So Mechamaru was a kind of a double agent, the reason he couldn't inform anyone before of what he was doing is because his Binding Vow required him to "pass information and cooperate", and i assume spilling the beans to Gojo would be breaking the pact.

Mechamaru gave up, or lost, the benefits of his heavenly restriction when he had his body healed, leaving him with little to no cursed energy. That is why his Mega-Mechamaru has a limited power supply. A power supply measured in years but still limited.
Mahito is one of the intelligent special grade curses. If Mechamaru really lost the benefits of his heavenly pact, he would have died pretty much instantly without Geto even getting a chance to lower a veil.

19:08 nah Mahito is a special grade (like Jogo and Hanami).
Sorcerers are expected to be able to exorcise curses of their same grade. For example a grade 3 sorcerer (like Miwa) should generally have little issue beating grade 3 curses, and a grade 1 sorcerer (like Nanami) should generally have little issue dealing with grade 1 curses. Nanami couldn’t defeat Mahito, therefore Mahito is above grade 1 (in other words, special grade).
I understand the confusion because the story kinda fails to emphasize it, but by the end of the Junpei arc, Mahito is much closer in power to the current 4 finger Sukuna than he is to any grade 1 curse.
bruh, they called special grade (curses and sorcerers) coz they're abnormal existences.... so common sense doesn't works on them... the "supposed" thing u talking about is not applicable on them..... it took many grade 1 sorcerers to only take 1 special grade curse... even mei-mei needs her brothers help......
A grade 1 sorcerer should be able to beat a grade 1 cursed spirit, and its possible they might beat special grade but not guaranteed, as seen with Todo. They aren't supposed to be able to beat one grade above but their own grade 99% of the time
That’s not how it is. Sorcerers are supposed to be able to exorcise their own grade, not a grade above.
Sorcerers are expected to be able to all but guarantee a win agaisnt a curse of their own grade, meaning a grade 2 sorcerer is usually similar in strength to a grade 1 cursed spirit. And so it goes for everything else. Special grade is where it breaks down. It's basically just a free for all up there.

No, it's explicitly stated in season 1 that he has a Heavenly Restriction. HRs can't be gained later in life, you're either born with it or you're not. Same way Maki and Toji have had zero cursed energy all their life, he's been frail and fragile all his life.

You're right, part of the binding vow is to not let others know about their agreement, same with Sukuna and Yuji before. So Mecha couldn't tell Gojo even if he wants to. That's why he said when he wins, he'll tell Gojo right away about the Shibuya plot.. that' s his "victory condition".

First when I read the manga, I didn't think much of the Ozawa story part just another fun break from the main story. But now I think the writer ment to put it here to to emphasize what kind of a person Itadori really is. No spoilers! but in this arc understanding him makes his story in this arc even more impactful.
A slight side track but still in the realm of TV shows; could you guys consider creating a tribute / reaction to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy and his voice? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. On MsMojo there was a video about the best voice acting in animated movies and I think he should've been included for his role in Batman the Mask of Phantasm (the scene at the cementary). I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's very underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
