  • In today's video, you'll learn how to remove light to moderate imperfections, how to protect the finish and how to prevent new imperfections! LETS GET STARTED!!
    Washing the vehicle alone is not enough to thoroughly cleanse the surface, use a clay bar to extract embedded contaminants that give the vehicle a rough look and feel. This is a necessary step before polishing and applying coatings to achieve the ultimate and longest lasting shine. The Light Clay Bar paired with Clay Luber is perfect for new and routinely detailed vehicles.
    Once the clay bar process is complete, inspect the paintwork to determine what will be your next step. Machine polishing is the most effective method of removing swirls and scratches. The team chose the combination of V34 and V36 to remove and refine the scratches and swirl marks
    on this Ford Lightning. Ensure you've achieved desired results by using a surface cleanser such as Wipe Out to remove polishing residue that may be trapped in minor blemishes. Wipe Out also prepares the surface for protective coatings and promotes a long lasting bond. Carbon Force locks in shine and repels harsh elements such as UV rays, bad weather, light abrasions and grime for many years to come.

    Great video, thanks! As big and slab-sided as these F-150s are, there's still a lot of little curvy sections.

    Hey. Great video, as usual! I just have some questions. 1) What is the difference between C4 and P4 vs V34 and V36? 2) My B Pillars currently look like the B pllars on that truck in the before shots. Did you use 34 and 36 or just the 36? 3) Every video I've watched from you guys stresses pad conditioner, but you guys didn't use that. Do you not need pad conditioner with V34 and 36? That's all I've got for you right now. I appreciate all of the intel you guys give us. Keep it coming!

      I think I can help, I recently watched a video they put out (I don’t remember how old the video is) showing the flow chart for detailing. They used the V34 and the V36 in this video. The first one wasn’t getting everything out which is why they used the 36. Their ‘V’ line is a one step polish while the C4 and P4 are their two step process. C4 is a compound and is for cutting and the P4 is the polish to use after C4 compound. Does this help?

      @IAmChaos78 also you can use P4 as a stand alone if the scratches are not too bad.

    Looks Great! How do you know when to change out your pad when polishing? I find it that I can only do maybe half the car then have to use another pad. How many pads do you normally use per compound? Got to get more Good Times! He's got better hair 🤪🤪

      Hi there! It is normal to have at least two of the same pad for a paint correction or to clean the pad during the job.

    How much pressure are you applying? Just got your products and plan to do my F250 King Ranch this weekend. In general what are the general rules you want to follow to not damage the paint? Total newb here so please explain like you would to a 8 year old. LOL. Thanks and love your videos.

      Hey! When using a dual action polisher, use the weight of the machine and your hand plus a little bit more. Listen for the tone of the machine to change slightly but ensure the pad is still oscillating.

    So would V34 finished with V36 take care of the majority of scratches you’d find in car paint? The way I’m understanding it is that V32 would be for really deep scratches in the clear coat, which would need to be followed up with 34 and 36 to clean it up, and V38 is for getting that super deep paint look and not something you’d use on most jobs? Or am I way off base?

    • @bansheerider619
      @bansheerider619 Год назад

      Youre correct. In fact V36 will take care of most scratches, but the guy used a hard brush to his new paint! What an idiot! Also make sure you are using the correct pad if using a machine.

    For going with v34 would that mean the clear coat is a little harder than what other manufacturers would use?
