Great video, thank you! I have been doing my own hard gel overlay nail extension (on the natural nail) for about 3 years now and am just now getting into doing my own press-on nails (paint them and then apply) and have been wondering how to apply with the soak-off builder gel: I haven't found many people talking about how to do it with a pre-painted nail ! Very helpful thank you. I never have much luck using the glue and I don’t have much confidence in it which is why I wanted to look into using builder gel. Both methods worked well for you, impressive. Love that you used a base and top coat which added to keeping them looking good. Just one question…I noticed you didn’t apply a base coat before using the builder gel. I’m self taught so not sure about that. Do you only use a base coat if using a dark colour to protect your nail or is the base coat needed to adhere to the builder gel? Just want to be sure and learn what’s right 🙏🏻 👏🏻🌟❤️💅🏻🇬🇧
Hey love! 💕 Builder gel doubles as a base coat. For extra security you can apply a think layer of base to the natural nail first before going in with application but it isn't really necessary. Hey love! 💕It's a little hard to remove once it's dried but I would recommend trying to gently separate the glue from your skin with a cuticle pusher. Acetone also breaks down the super glue so you could try that on a Qtip but be careful it does not make contact with the press on as it could mess up the design or cause lifting if it gets under the nail. Sorry I could not be of more help. Let me know if this works for you. Thanks for watching! 😊
I usually dont comment on videos so much.....BUT i love your videos and vibe with your style so much. I use my cheaper walmart nail drill to etch my full cover tips as well. @@dinkbaby9563 Hey love! 💕 I did a wear test at the end of this video. I took them off after 1 week but they could have lasted longer, I just was ready to change out my set. Let me know how this method works for you. Thanks for watching. 😊
Would this work for color press ons?
Hey love! 💕 This works better for French tip press ons because they have a transparent nail bed so the light can cure it. I’ve found that for colors press ons it’s better to apply them with acrylic. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 🥰
Awesome video ☺️ like press on nails just a little 😂 I wish they would make press on nails for people with wide nail beds my thumb is always the issue 😑 keep up the great work...#yeahyall #aintshecute
Hey love! 💕 Yeah that can be frustrating. I’ve had a few that I’ve tried that didn’t fit me either. As I’m testing more press on nails, I’ll try and keep an eye out to see if they have some that accommodates wider nail beds. I love that you know my sayings. 🥰 Your continued love and support is priceless! 💖 Tfw
love these! but how do you remove them?
Hey love! 💕 I soak them off in acetone to remove them. I have a full tutorial that shows how I removed this set. I'll link it here in case it might be helpful to you. Thanks for watching. 🥰

Big likeeee 👍
Thank you so much! 🤍🖤🤍🖤
I have dried glue that bleed around outside my nail. How do get rid of it?
Use my 2 in 1 melody susie lamp e file for clean ups and cuticle work. I saw this gel on amazon im thinking about buying it. Ima check these press ons as well. Love press ons for a cheap fast week when i dont wana do my nails. I was feeling you with your first acrylic video too this will be me when i finally get into acrylics xoxo
Hey love! 💕 Thank you so much for the kind words! 🥰 I'm so glad your enjoying my content! Once I upgraded my efile I started exclusively using my Walmart drill just to etch the inside of my tips and it's been perfect for that. I would highly recommend this builder gel and those press ons are still going strong 10 days later! 💅🏾 I love press ons for a quick mani when I don't have time and applying them with acrylic is my favorite application method. Thanks for watching and welcome to the Happy Family! 🥰🥰🥰
love this video 🥰
Thanks for watching! 🥰
Wait so you don’t put the builder gel on top of the press on to make it stronger?
Hey love! 💕 You can add the builder gel on top to make it stronger if you would like but BTArtbox press ons are already very strong so I don't always do it when using this particular brand of press ons. Thanks for watching! 🥰
How long does press ons usually last with builder gel ?
Hey love! 💕 I did a 1 week wear at the end of this video but in general I can get about 2+ weeks applying my press ons with builder gel. 💅🏾 Thanks for watching! 🥰
You should try the sticky tab and nail method …Since I follow you and you actually engage 😂 I kno you won’t tell us anything for the review
I was going to get them same press-ons and thanks for sharing I love the vid
Hey sis! 💕 Sure thing. The next time I try press ons from BTArtbox I'll use their adhesive tabs to see how they hold up. I do really like the quality of their press on nails! 💅🏾 I recently did a video were I applied press ons with adhesive tabs and they lasted over a week. I'll link it here in case it might be helpful to you. You're continued love and support is priceless! 🥰

@@RozeBeauty318 I meant sticky tab and nail glue method 😂 it’s where they’re putting on the sticky tab then putting nail glue on top
Nice! 💅🏽
Thanks love! 🖤🤍🖤🤍
Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊
My pleasure love! 🥰
Can you use any gel builder to cure the nail
Yes you can. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@RozeBeauty318 I may have to try this I thought you put the gel builder on top once you glue them down witn nail glue
@@KeishaC85 You can if you want to. Adding it on top is optional but I do recommend it as it helps the design last longer.
@@RozeBeauty318 ok thank you I’m gonna buy it today off Amazon and see what happens when I apply it top, I put the topcoat on next correct?
@@KeishaC85 Yep that's the next step. You are going to love this system. It's one of the best on the market especially when it comes to press ons and I've worn a lot of different brands of press ons over the years. Let me know how it works for you. 💅🏾

Hey sis! 💕

Thought nail needed to be clear to cure
Hey love! 💕 Yes that is true. Because these are french tips with a clear base, that's how I was able to use the builder gel but for nails that are already fully designed, I would not recommend this method. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 😊
@Roze318 your sweet to answer so quick. Loved the black and white you did in this post. Your awesone
