Same here! I was so in such yolo mode that my current boyfriend was worried about asking me out 'cause he thought I might be gay xD (luckily, I'm bi ;)
Kristin - "My current husband." Brian - "Wait, what?" Duran Duran's "Is There Something I Should Know" starts playing in the background. Cue awkward drama.
@@spiffmcgee9036 That was my thought. Brie was referred to as Kitchen’s “partner” in some more recent ladylike videos. Maybe Brie was already doing some gender questioning?
I mean I asked my gf out over messenger at like 11 pm. You see my tactic there was wait until she's sleep deprived so that her critical thinking goes down and she becomes impulsive. We've been together for two years now 😊
If I can get someone so can you! I was desperate and went out with the first guy that asked me out (a fat lazy dude that kept saying he had medical issues so he could get out of anything) and with all the "medical problems" he had, he was trying to get SSI so he didn't have to get a job! I eventually was able to see what I was doing to myself and broke it off with him (and I was with him for two and a half years!) I thought I wasn't good enough for anyone and he was the best I would get, but I knew that wasn't true It took me 6 years, but I was able to find a man that actually liked me for the person that I am and he's an amazing man! So like I said, if I can find a man then YOU can too!!!
There's no right way, if she likes you she likes you, if she doesn't she doesn't. But, a tip I can give you is, don't make it sound like you don't care and you're just doing this out of 'just for the health of it'. If you like a girl, make it sound like you're really into her (without being creepy).
Confidence ladies ❤😘 yes! Out of a toxic relationship of 7 years- gave myself 2 years to be ok with my self and figure out what I wanted and needed and now im in a new relationship and things are going amazing 💓
Because those who do NOT learn to accept rejection will be filled with so much pent-up frustration that they will grab a gun and wreak havoc on innocent people. I'm sry, but it's not a coincidence that the last two mass shooters were incels upset over a girl rejecting them...
Some do, some don't. You either learn to deal with the fear of embarrassment to try for your goal, drown in fear and get nothing, or fill yourself with resentment. This is also why it is a sometimes thing for guys and why the guys who ask out women most often are really confident or really jerks. But yes, being filled with doubt, taking the risk, wondering if you read the signals right really sucks. That's why a lot of guys - in spite of the jokes - really love being in a relationship and "out of the game".
Sometimes I think if we women asked men out more it would take the pressure of them a bit and things might be less nerve-wracking for everyone involved... But then dating is scary for everyone 😅
Never asked a guy out, never made the first move, never gonna happen 😂 I’m afraid I’m over guys in general, I seem to only attract the weirdos and creeps 😩 But with life being so busy I actually have no time or patience for a relationship. Maybe when I retire? LOL
The video was about how they successfully asked a guy out and they basically said that they did that by being confident in themselves and by having a good mentality that even though it might not workout (like if the guy says no or it'll be a short relationship), they'll be okay either way cause they don't necessarily need a partner to be happy. I get that you probably expected them to actually tell people how to successfully ask someone out but it really is different for everyone and they cannot guarantee that it'll be successful 100% of the time 🤷
I love this! It’s so true that when you have almost given up and care the least is when it happens! I met my husband when I wasn’t even looking to meet anyone and there he was right in front of me, smiling his sexy Italian smile. We’ve been married 7 years now.
I think the smell of desperation turns men off. BTW, Kristin, you look SO beautiful in the Maroon (at least on my screen) dress in the upper left hand corner at 6:50.
Okay but sometimes you’re an awkward human being like me and you try and flirt and what comes out is “sooooooo what Hogwarts House are you in?” *yes this happened to me*
Same here! I started talking to my now husband 11 years ago with a “he’s cute, I’ll try talking to him but if it doesn’t go anywhere then it’s whatevs” attitude. Two years after that we were married. First and only time I asked someone out and it worked and now it’s til death to us part, baby!
I love their confidence. After a lot of rejection, I would only date men who were interested in me. I've settled down, and married my best friend. No harm in asking people how they feel, life is short. I still think that men like to make the first move.
This is exactly how my relationship with my now fiance started! I was at a point in my life where I'd been single for 5 years, because I consciously chose to be. I worked on myself for a long time, had a LOT of fun, made some huge mistakes and became really happy being on my own. We met through a mutual friend and I think because I wasn't actually interested in a relationship and so went in really casually, we hit it off. Now our relationship is so relaxed and I absolutely adore him. He makes my life better by being in it, but I would also be happy on my own. That's the important thing: being happy and confident in yourself. Once you find that it's really easy for someone else to see that too :) I absolutely love you guys, you are LIFE
The best relationship Ive had (and still currently am in) started by me literally being so relaxed and casual and not pushing anything serious too hard and it made me come across as my true self so I think there is something to not taking yourself or them too seriously!
Literally I cant human around boys 😭 This one guy was like "Jus you dont have to be shy and nervous around me" and I literally got red and walked away.. 10/10 Humaning 👏🏽
I have never asked anyone out and I honestly don't think i would ever have the guts too! Was with my ex for 8/9 years and I was only 19 when we started dating so I think I kinda missed out on all that dating around stuff, that probably gives you more confidence maybe?
I match on tinder, wait for the guy to send the first message. Then if conversation is going well after a day or two I’ll suggest a date - usually coffee
Very important topic. This is really difficult for me as well, for a long time it was a taboo for women to approach men first. Thanks Ladylike for bringing awareness to this issue.
Sumrine Raja I'm aware that in 2018 women do ask men out. But I grew up being taught that men ask ladies out. If I have to ask a man out, it's a huge turn off to me. So I don't even bother. It's a shame though, men don't seem to know how to ask a woman out anymore. Or what a real date used to be. Hint... It's not a cup of coffee.
Lmfao I shoot my shot all the time and miss😂💀 I shot my shot to a guy recently and he's like your my best friend I was like damn I just hot friend zoned😂🤦
Moral of the story: if you don't care whether the relationship works out or not then it's more likely to work out... noted.
That is actually how my relationship with my husband started. I just thought I would have fun for a few months with him. That was 11 years ago.
Same here!
Haha it seems that way, but for someone like me, it's pretty hard not to care.
Wow...interesting...
Same here! I was so in such yolo mode that my current boyfriend was worried about asking me out 'cause he thought I might be gay xD (luckily, I'm bi ;)

I literally just asked out a boy right before this. He said yes
Boom
I asked out a guy once and got shot down hard. I don't know how guys do it 😪

Caitlin Marie how do "guys" do it... what about girls ;-;
Sometimes I think if we women asked men out more it would take the pressure of them a bit and things might be less nerve-wracking for everyone involved...
But then dating is scary for everyone 😅
Chantel and Jen should do one but on how to ask out girls
Cayla YESSSSSSSSSSSS
The most surprising part of this whole video is that Kristin used to wear shorts????
Kelly Durgan ...she still wears them. It’s been mentioned in quite a few videos
Truptee Banerjee in one video they tried on shorts from amazon and I thought she said she hated shorts?? I’m probably wrong tho
paige now that I think about it...I think she gas said that. Maybe she changed ger mind?? I’ve definitely seen her wearing shorts in other videos
Truptee Banerjee she's worn shorts in videos like New Orleans and Africa for practicality. Her everyday look is dresses and skirts.
Truptee Banerjee you’re probably right, I’ve just never seen her in shorts before, mainly just dresses
I love how she says 'current' husband.
Ladylike uploading means dropping everything else
Karsen Piatek yeah pretty much
My two queens in a video! *lowkey obsessed with yall tho*
Naeni same I love them together

Erika M same😂😂
You probably don't want to go near a creep, but you could try a weirdo. Lol
If they don’t scare me off I’ll give it a try lol
It’s hard to stay away when they’re everywhere 😅
If I wasn’t straight I’d consider it LOL
So where is the “how to” part of the video?
Jordan Wright lol. Exactly
I literally heard only like 2 tips that's it..
The video was about how they successfully asked a guy out and they basically said that they did that by being confident in themselves and by having a good mentality that even though it might not workout (like if the guy says no or it'll be a short relationship), they'll be okay either way cause they don't necessarily need a partner to be happy. “Current husband” is an interesting choice of words.
Megan Tewalt why?

I really like these types of videos because it feels like I’m just chatting with friends and listening to their stories. Love you guys!
I think the smell of desperation turns men off. BTW, Kristin, you look SO beautiful in the Maroon (at least on my screen) dress in the upper left hand corner at 6:50.
Kristen's dress is so cute!! I love her sense of style. It works so well for her. She is adorable ❤️
Kristin: “My current husband”
Low expectations :)
Okay but sometimes you’re an awkward human being like me and you try and flirt and what comes out is “sooooooo what Hogwarts House are you in?” *yes this happened to me*

Honestly, I love that.
I’m worse I said so do you like bread?

I never asked a guy out in my entire 26-year existence. The thought is just so mortifying to me.
I love their confidence. After a lot of rejection, I would only date men who were interested in me. I've settled down, and married my best friend. No harm in asking people how they feel, life is short. I still think that men like to make the first move.
Devin is seriously my favorite. She is open with her sexuality, she's so pretty, and she's funny. She's basically my role model
i just have to pause.. kristin's like "my current husband"... IS THERE A STORY WE DON'T KNOW??????????
@dev0n james Is this sarcastic?
Their stories were really cute 😂I love them together
I am all ways friend zoned all my friends are dogs and cats.

Men in general are slow creatures. And the good ones, we have to show initiative but its terrifying. So thanks girls for the video
That ending was so sweet! Brian approved, I love.
"My current husband" uhhh did I miss something? LOL. Anyway that was a very silly video and I very much enjoyed it :)
@dev0n james so are children also disposable. You are a very messed up individual. Only focused on your needs
Wait I loved this! It was like hearing advice from the older sisters I never had!
OMG Kristin u look amazing in that dress and Devin your top looks so good on u
Devin is glowing!!! 😍
The best relationship Ive had (and still currently am in) started by me literally being so relaxed and casual and not pushing anything serious too hard and it made me come across as my true self so I think there is something to not taking yourself or them too seriously!

I have never clicked on a video so fast. I knew Ladylike would give me the humor filled answers.
I've never asked a boy out ever. I'm too afraid of rejection. They've always approached me.
I love these two together
I have never asked anyone out and I honestly don't think i would ever have the guts too! Was with my ex for 8/9 years and I was only 19 when we started dating so I think I kinda missed out on all that dating around stuff, that probably gives you more confidence maybe?

Aw I love the bit with Brian at the end 💕💕
I match on tinder, wait for the guy to send the first message. Then if conversation is going well after a day or two I’ll suggest a date - usually coffee
Awww that last bit was so cute
I asked my boyfriend out. I asked him to come to Subway with me because I had a coupon. We've been together for a year and a half.
That’s so cute I love subway
I loved the dramatic renactment
Brain should definatley make more cameos
So a guy knew that I liked him
He said “okay”
And to this day
He ignores my guts
I need a whole series of this
"My current husband " 😂
DEVIN CRACKS ME UP I LOVE HER
I wish guys fell out of skies. That'd be a good ice breaker. :D
