this is like Dubai Duty Free Masters Final Anderson Gerwen. Or RVB vs MVG Worlds Semi. Up there with Taylor Lewis Grandslam 13. One of the best matches ive ever seen.
Bit of a stretch to call it the best ever. In terms of quality it's up there, but even still there have been loads of finals with similar or better quality.
Great match by both... This era of dart is just different. Proven by the fact that even these two great players can lose at any moment in a first round. I know MVG isn't as great as he was but let's stop comparing this era to other decades. The overall level is so much higher. MVG still did do amazing in a league format being the premier league.

Every year I watch Peter, he seems to be a slightly better player than the year before. He no longer really needs a colorful costume to play some super hero to himself. He's eaten Micheal's lunch a few times now with no one surprised at all.

Wird nicht passieren. Die Konkurrenz ist mittlerweile zu gut. Zudem respektiert den auch keiner mehr, oder anders gesagt, niemand "fürchtet" sich mehr davor gegen die Fettbacke zu spielen. Das sah vor 3-4 Jahren noch etwas anders aus. Aber mir es soll es absolut recht sein so wie es jetzt ist. Und auch die ganze Dart-Welt ist froh darüber.

MVG is obviously not firing on all cylinders atm, this past year doesn’t agree with him, I think he loves full crowds etc to feed the adrenaline, but… it is the same for all the players.
