Wie es sich wohl sitzt „on the top of the world“?

" I'm Sitting On Top Of The World" - so optimistic! ( I think);
I read ( Google) the text of this song. ( O!..)
I like both, both! Thank you so much!
Optimism is what we definitely need during these difficult times, dear Gabi, and how nice that you took the time to look up the lyrics to this song! Thank you and my kind regards !
Very nice musical combination and montage of two recordings - two completely different styles from two different eras..! Can't be therefore compared, I am afraid. Interesting document of the changing process of fashion - Thank you, Daniel !
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Jurek !
I am surprised to hear a Pathé-Actuelle as early as 1925 that is electrically recorded; I thought this label switched to electric on a later moment. Anyhow, this hot and catchy performance was brilliant and Arthur Hall's vocal is outstanding as well. The 1953 version is a gigantic fast-forward in time, and radically different but as such, equally virtuosic. Thank you so much for this most remarkable, highly contrasted comparison!
It is often surprising that such an old record can sound so good and is hardly inferior in quality to the much later recording of this song.
Thank you again for listening so attentively !
@@parlophonman You are so welcome :-) Absolutely, sound quality of both isn' that much different. Truly amazing!
