Baraka and Reptile becoming two of the most likeable characters is one of the best parts of this game
From jobbers to heroes. Perfect.
From absolute jobbers to underrated heroes and chads (at least with that last one in Reptile's case sorry Baraka 😅)
Liu Kang gave them a better possilibity for a life. Shame that they both have to face tragedy but hey, they kept their good heart.

Giving everyone an equal chance to be a hero is the best decision made for this game.
No small parts
Copy and paste has never worked so hard in its life. There is no difference or even dialog from anyone but the person you choose. I remember when games used to get grilled for lazy ass storytelling and development like this.

Yeah, but, other than that, this whole endgame sequence lacked a lot. But I will overlook it because I know the reasonable factors that came into play - such as running out of time, and low budget for this sequence alone

I never grow tired of those moments where liu kang goes beast mode with his martial arts.
I was so surprised seeing Sonya Blade with Kano's laser eye, a female Johnny Cage, and a mime cage, but the mime cage comes back to fight Baraka
I think that was a different mime cage.
If I had 2 coins for every mime cage in the battle I would have 2, but it is weird it happened twice.

So, Mime Cage (or Ninja Mime, as he's known) has been a thing for a little bit (since MK10, I think), but it's cool that he gets referenced here.
What caught me off guard is all the crazy fused characters. In Scorpion's run, you end up fighting two entirely different Scorpion-Kung Lao fusions; Scorp Lao and Stung Lao. And then you get Shao-Zero here with Baraka's run!
Can you imagine the heartbreak, if Baraka becomes more and more viscous and deranged and only Lu Kang knows he saved all the Realms?
I’m glad I finally found someone who chose Baraka for this part and seeing Baraka in this scene just hyped me up so much like seriously look at my boy kicking so much ass like a boss I’m glad Baraka was finally done justice

yeah I love all the different amalgamation fighters you can fight in this part, like Shao Zero, makes me wonder just now many characters they made to have basically 1 fight in the story mode and pretty much never be seen again

My favorite moment is after the second fight, when the player is chased by a horde of enemies and we knock out Dark Kenshi on the way to the third fight
What I like about Baraka in this story mode is that he has more of a personality and character than just being bloodthirsty for meat.
Yeah, he isn't the evil henchmen no.2 anymore. He has a personality and backstory.
Its was cool to see them delve into the tarkatan thing.

Baraka and Reptile had massive improvements in just anything they did. Baraka seems like a real person and not just a monster.
Imagine if Baraka's blood spilled in the survivors of the "armaggedon" and infected them with tarkat, it could cause multiversal outbreak lmao

Johnny Cage, Mime Cage, Female Cage, vs. Shao Goro was a nice callback to the first MK movie. That groin punch from Shao Goro to Mime Cage was personal and that tap to throw was a nice homage.

1. A little justice for him, because Kung Lao always been below Liu Kang, but we can "make" him a worthy one.

I will go with 3 options.
1-geras. He's liu kang's right hand after all. Him saving his boss and all timelines would be fitting.
2-shao. It's the armageddon. Shao Khan already won it once. It would be fitting to win it a second time. This time on the light side.
3-shang tsung. Who else could defeat shang tsung? A good titan Shang tsung with a noble heart defeating an evil titan shang tsung with a poisoned heart. The ultimate good vs evil.

Honestly the biggest thing that I loved about the ending is all the different characters that were mixed kind of characters like I ran into one that was named quantum chi and it was basically garris but mixed with Quan chi it'd be fun if they could make that something playable

It was so damn cathartic in this game to see Reptile and Baraka, the two generic almost personalitless goons of the main antagonists to actually get a chance in the spotlight and have a few wins.

I feel like this is the most "wholesome" mortal kombat.
I still can't believe that there are good Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, considering that all of them came from the a single timeline and just split right before big fight with Kronika. Meaning all the Shang Tsungs and Quan Chis did the shit that we all from mk1 to mk11.
Somehow that now, they're magically good

Something about baraka taking out not just 1 but 2 milina's by stabbing them with their own sai's feel somewhat redemptive as in character dialogue in kenshi/baraka fights he shows regret for not following them into shang sungs lab as he believes that cost kenshi his eyes

So listen, I have a theory, since there are an infinite timelines where kronika lost and all that titan stuff happened but maybe there could be a timeline where kronika succeded or maybe a timeline where kronika is good and achieves her golden balance. And maybe, in mortal kombat 2, we might get titan onaga 😲😮

I mean they took the 1 loss ending as the Canon route and then canonized both Liu kang and Shang sung after math ending . So there's still the ending where u win both kronika fights and u end up with Kitana but considering the titan Kitana is confomed to be our Liu kings kitana , that isn't nesccary , so we should definitely see a kronika wins timeline
All the tower endings are canon in this game, onaga shows up in a couple
Nah I'm pretty sure Kronika's death is what fractured the universe into multiple timelines. She was the original and real Titan of Time.
The different timelines were made after the Lui Kang and Shang Tsung fight. So no only one Kronika
