I was a late teenager when some of the greatest hits and artists of hiphop existed. The nostalgia runs so deep. I am now 32 years old and I can't even explain what I would give to go back to these days, where music brought people together and you'd meet your significant other through physical interaction and proper communication. Naturally my Nigerian father had an aversion to that and told me to stop listening to hip hop. But you can't really enforce that cause whenever he left I would put on the TV and indulge. But one day he came home and caught me listening to this on 106 and Park and said I thought I told you to stop listening to this music and so forth but at the end we came to an agreement and I've been a hip hop head since.
