Notes: 1. Space Marine 2 has inbuilt slots on how many enemies can attack someone at the same time. This applies to the shooters as well - when there are enough melee enemies already attacking a target the shooters will not shoot. This is why you see shooters standing around and are unable to shoot. He would die much faster if these limits are removed. 2. Increasing the number of Warrior units especially shooters above ~12 will cause the Helbrute to lose. 3. Helbrute's plasma cannon takes more than 3 shots for a warrior to go down, which I am not sure about. Next video is going to be about critiques of Space Marine 2.
To be honest a single hammer/plasma bolt hit should be enough to make any nid warrior a fine red mist, but for gameplay reasons that is not the case haha
I wish it worked like that for me, but all that ever happens is I get dogpiled by up to five warriors, a horde of hormagaunts, and I still get shot to pieces.
I feel like a single smack from the Helbrute’s hammer should’ve one-shotted them, like the Ultramarine from the last stand cutscene before Calgar comes in as reinforcements.
I know it probably isn’t super fun but I’d love to see imperial guard vs hormagaunts and termagaunts. I wanna see how space marines not being around affects the battle
Considering the guardsmen NPCs never die (I've yet to see a single corpse of them during the bridge swarm in mission 2) I don't think it's possible. Unless you give them 1 HP like the cultists, but then the Tyranids would win just as easily as the guards if they kept their infinite HP
@@the_infinexos They die almost as soon as anything bumps into them on mine. Not to mention that one time they bump into a Zoanthrope. Single blast in the middle wipes out like 6 guys instantly.
@@appleodge1278 they also have a special animation in knocking off hormagaunts whenever they get pinned by one while the other fires at the one that got kicked off, so the only thing that would kill them 90% of the time are most majoris and some extremis showing up ofc, unless they get the back to back swarm pounced treatment

The sounds of the tyranid warriors just standing around idly breathing and chittering is really cool, like a lion crossed with a warrior ant, could you release a video of just their idle animations and sounds? It boggles the mind that any Tyranid (aside from the Big'uns) could survive more than a singular blow from the dreadnaught sized power hammer. I mean shit. Named Astartes take down scarier shit than a Warrior with far smaller tools on a daily basis. Also completely lore accurate refusal to use the ranged and rather fucking large plasma weapon in favor of bludgeoning the opponent as a hellbrute, excellent work.
I never noticed this much unit variation, usually i slam my powersword bulkwark into whatever i see is a priority/blow up gun lines with my plasma pistil
Seeing how agile th Helbrute is, it's kinda dissapointing to think they have only...what, 6 inches of movement on tabletop? Maybe the EC specific one will have more movement and auto advance 6" as well as a "roll 3d6, discard lowest" for charges
Is this the current build of the game? Thought they made the AI more aggressive now. If the tool here is using an outdated version, then perhaps the story is different now.
I hate the way he just slides across the ground like he's on wheels. It actually makes no sense. He should be limited to movements his legs can produce.

Agreed. Sadly though, that'd also apply to Astartes, so having lore-accurate one-shot attacks would be a no-go for anything other Dark Souls

The Tyranid Warriors are my favorite enemies in the game. They’re so fun to fight, they look AMAZING, and their sound design is fantastic.
