  • A singular word is only 1 (one) of something. A plural word has more than 1+ (one) of something. Typically when you want to make a word plural you simply add "-s" to the end of the word. However, if a word ends with: ch, sh, s, x, z then you add "-es" to the end of the word to make it plural.
    Ex. (typical words)
    paper (singular) (1) 👉🏻 paperS (plural) (1+)
    Ex. (ch, sh, s, x, z)
    peaCH (singular) (1) 👉🏻 peachES (plural) (1+)
