Man the clouds section is so stupid when you think about it, like, imagine your whole operation is torn apart because a man forfeited his weapons at your door and walked in, then took a bag of plate metal and screws from his pocket and MADE an entirely new gun IN your establishment to start shooting with.
You think the cybernetic eyes and shit may be able to scan or pick up holdout weapons. Sure it makes the game easier, but like lore wise? Pretty sure a fully plastic gun up your ass wrapped in something would still get picked up. @larsburrito
I've never ran out of ammo, ever, in any playthrough. I've also never crafted ammo. I never knew how I had so much, I assumed that it was because of looting, but maybe the bodies helped too.
@@qhu3878 Yeah. I am usually silenced pistol /netrunner type but after I found Guillotine X-MOD2 in Dogtown, I am constantly crafting ammo. Love that little thing.
Out of all of the 'Can you Beat X while Y' RUclipsrs, you are one of my favorites. You have a very witty editing style, and I appreciate your commentary.
What if my favourite tank gets destroyed by my least favourite tank? Am i just supposed to take that sitting down? No, i would rather face jail time than let some greasy neckbeard kill me in funny tank game
new crafting system clears, no hidden, confusing level bullshit and everything just makes sense without having to google how to do things optimally because everything just works. And the random gun drops you get from enemies are actually usable if they fit your build, no more getting 100s of green smgs in end game
I don't know how it used to work, but I did let out a mental groan when I saw the current system. They're living in an ultra-modern, ultra-consumerist society - crafting is something the average person shouldn't have to, or even want to do, and everything in their environment would be trying to discourage that. In that case, crafting should, at most, be an option included for a particular play/roleplay style. Obviously it would have benefits over buying everything you need, but also require a lot more build investment, allowing for more complexity if it would work to make it interesting. Just like we have people irl who decide to up and code their whole browsers for a custom linux os, or engineer their game controllers to fix stick drift permanently, or build a whole prosthetic hand from scratch due to denied health insurance, crafting your own shit in a world like Night City is it's own kind of "punk"; *not* a practical measure for your average layperson. What makes no sense is a slightly dressed up buying/selling system that you can ignore in most playthroughs. At that point, you're just ruining immersion by giving them that option.
I honestly agree with the fact that if you're in a situation where you're forced a certain weapon you do not fail the challenge seeing as it's out of your control
kind of a sussy thing to say, but it actually does sound somewhat close hitting someone with a bat. humans and baseballs make very different noises when struck by a very fast moving piece of wood lmao
Oh man, this run is completely invalidated after you didn’t unequip the eye cyberware, run failed, thank goodness this comment doesn’t boost the algorithm and ultimately is a net positive for you.
I played cyberpunk through on release (luckily on pc so it ran) and the old crafting system was so broken, I grinded for hours and set up auto clickers to make the most devastating revolvers. The new system is fine but no perks associated with it anymore, glad to see someone giving the system some love, but its not what it used to be.
You're for sure my favorite cyberpunk youtuber now. Idk why, but I just like the scripts and editing (and the persistence to do such runs in the first place)
11:44 back before patch 2.0, this gun was the only gun that was powerful enough to allow me to get through the Arasaka soldiers during (Don’t Fear) The Reaper ending because I can get one shotted by them (due to me being way too underleveled at the time), fortunately, this was also the same for the Arasaka soldiers against the Comrade’s Hammer
I'm so glad crafting was reworked, along with most of the game. Locking integral parts of the game behind the amount of perk points you have was really annoying at launch, and now any build can craft any thing, its really nice
You're another one of _those_ challengers... My dood, burn this into your mind and tatoo on your arm: things forced onto you, such as the ammo shenanigans, will never fail the challenge. Ever.

Something I discovered recently in my stealth playthrough- During "I Walk the Line" you can literally skip everything in there and sneak past the boss n go straight to the cinema. Afterwards all of the Animals will leave the area (leaving some loot behind). You can pick up the Sasquatch's hammer as well before she aggros (if you dont just sneak past her) and she'll only resort to fists. Fun details!

On a similar note you should do one with only paying for everything Not allowed to use picked up weapons and items(optionally allow selling them) Not allowed to use crafting Can only use items you get from vendors
You can finish character creation without needing to allocate attribute points. You can begin the game with all of them, which is incredible, as you can allocate all of your starting attribute points into a single skill tree.
Can you please do a "Can you beat cyberpunk as the doom slayer" challenge? Essentially; only physical and reflexes can be upgraded. No melle except fists, hitting with guns or using quake with hammer. (one shot swords are an exception though cause they're similiar to the crucible). You can only use weapons similiar to the ones in doom eternal. No cyberware except the double jump / gorilla fists. You can't use the regenerating heal items. You must get the "rip and tear" perk before you finish the game. Oh and no hacking / vehicle using (unless required by the quest) (also yeah the no hacking is kind of covered by the no cyberware but you don't need cyberware to do things like disable cameras or jack in to things.) Love these videos man, keep up the amazing work! Just found your channel and have watched about half of all your content in like, a day. :D

I wonder what's going through Jackie's head at the start when V suddenly dresses down in the middle of a scav hideout and starts frantically dancing and shuffling around.
Personally, I prefer normal "Burya" to comrade's hammer. 4 bullets per magazine and actually having access to *the feature* of tech weapons- shooting through objects, while still being able to one-shot majority of enemies with a charged headshot, is imo better than having bigger numbers (especially since you don't need them- a one-shot is a one-shot). I understand why using the iconic version was necessary in this run though- crafting specs for "normal" weapons can only be bought, not found, making them unavailable for this run, so I'm just saying that in the future runs, I'd really suggest looking into normal non-iconic Burya revolver, it's actually amazing, and you can use upgrade materials on cyberware.
I really wanna see you do a longer run where you complete all the late game quests because there’s a lot to be discovered in the 3rd act from different decisions made from the start of the game
Comrades Hammer used to be super op pre 2.0. With all the pistol perks you could shoot through walls and reload within under a second (at least it felt like that) and with a headshot you could one shot most enemies in the game.
