I still drive my 16 yrs old LCR 210hp AMK stock with 290k km on the clock! Bought it new back in 2003 for 17K pounds, it was a bargain. I can't get rid of it, engine's bulletproof, turbo has been faultless all this time. I bought a 330i coupe 272hp (e92) to replace it six years ago thinking the LCR would soon die, well guess which one stays in the garage from Monday to Friday. I love my LCR so so much.
Buckets, steering wheel, harnesses, harness bar, that'll make it track asf;) and I'd definitely do graphite wheels
Those wheels are exactly what my brother has on his vxr Nurburgring edition and it looks clean!!!
strip it, cage, steering wheel & boss, buckets, bigger turbo and big front mount intercooler, poly bush everything, stage 6million map and just switch on race car mode haha! Its looking good man - excited to see it on track

For the track if you are doing track days i recomend a fixed back seat and harnessess like the ones in toms civic. Also my dad has worked as a mechanic for 20 years + and never wore ear plugs. Now he is slightly deaf as the airguns and and hammers like tommy has has affected his hearing. Not trying to be boring but a bit of advice. Keep it up and love the channel

I assume you know how as most do but if you don't, learn how to heel toe/rev match correctly, having that extra power to exit a corner with by being in a lower gear will do wonders for times, plus it sounds awesome.

Tyres are amazing aren't they. wet grip is just as good as dry.
coil overs are amazing too. make sure you get the car fully aligned for track use.
Before heading out on the track, i would 100% recommending a brake upgrade, after a lap on standard breaks you will get break-fade, which sucks and is supper dangerous. Search for EBC yellowstuff, head this in loads of track cars. really good for the money (£80ish)
Secondly, a good bucket seat and harness, or even just a harness. its so much better going around corners and not having to death grip the wheel around every corner.

Fully polybush, hybrid turbo, clutch upgrade,seats, intercooler, wheel spacers, and suppose a private reg , all these need to be done 👍🏻👌🏻
Those tyres look genuinely fantastic, with the extra grip as well will be absolutely ideal.

If you're serious about tracking the leon get a proper limited slip diff. It's expensive but so worth it in a FWD with as much power as yours.
and top tip , with those seal covers hold them to the top of the skirt and push in tight and move it a little . usually clicks on ;)
like a 5 year old at disneyland;) wouldn't change anything huge boq, the only way collin could improved is perhaps with sprayed wheels (like you said) and some weight reduction but that means loosing the back seats :/ cheapest and easiest way to boost the torque though

I don't know if you've done this already but u can upgrade your anti roll bar and and rip off that splitter and add one of those rubber universal ones and maybe de chrome it if you haven't and add some stickers to release some of the horses.
People are complaining about non bmx videos but I love these car videos 😜
Love the set up just looked how much the coils are for my VXR £1,500 so now just need look for some good tires and wheels.

+boqer123 yep, ran them on all the cars I owned, r888s are a fantastic tyre and hold out a lot better but for the price difference you can't go wrong with yokos. I did 5+ full days at cadwell plus about 5k miles and they still have about 3mm on them. Done a lot of tack time at my local track (cadwell park) in a Clio cup and a few mx5s.

I'm from Oxford and don't really know the roads. I was just driving through Cheltenham to get home. I think it was this Leon I saw? (definitely a Red 04 plate cupra) Going along a road by a VW dealer, sounded sweet man.

Nice wheels and the tires are probably the best you can buy for track use and road use. The best compromise i think. You can drive home on them in the Rain without dieing.
to further improvement:
lighten it will get you the most for 0 money.
brakes could be upgraded better pads and fluid do a big difference. bigger calipers and disks would be more expensive of course.
Maybe some swaybars but I think thats something wich you could do when you feel that you have a little more experiance.
And dont wrap it in some stupid shit or tint the Windows.
I was in a bad mood before I watched this vid, but your err...joy I guess, was infectious and turned my frown upside down. I love leon's (my favourite is the MK2) and I can't wait to get the tdi fr (I currently drive an ibiza cupra diesel ) and mod it.
I deffo think silver wheels suit the car more and I agree that showing more tyre looks better but is also more practical.

id suggest putting some stripes down the bonnet and some flames on the side, should add between 50-70 bhp
Get some 15 or even 10mm spacers on the rear 👌🏼 fitment is fine on the front though

Get a respray or wrap and tint the Windows. Keep the wheels how they are just a suggestion

Um, I would say aluminium mirror caps to change to things up ever so slightly. Slightly darkened rear light tints too? Looks sick though

you need some bucket seats for track or get something that can fold and has a bucket shape so you can use it on road trips
scrap the foldable ones i just realised you got four doors so your fine just get some decent buckets that are not to hard core

Because it's illegal to tint the front windows in the UK. (y)
technically that's not true! you can tint any window but it all depends on the transparency , if you go any further that 20% it can be illigal on the fronts
Would uprate disc and pads if you're going on track. Brake fade isn't fun. EBC USR and sticky stuff pads done my LCR fine around the ring.

Make sure the tires are warm before you rag it down a twisty road. I know a few people who have almost lost there cars because they've had no grip.

You will also want an alignment at some point as you've messed around with the suspension

The only things I can think of that the Cupra may need is spacers on the rear, new splitter, maybe a diffuser, and a roll cage .... That's it ...
Why not install braded brake lines when you refurb the callipers. Also could install front and rear sway bars as they're not too drastic and improve handling

I would recommend you get harnesses bucket seats steering wheel and a shift knob you will be surprised how much that improves your driving also I would recommend hella late, trail braking when going into corners but other than that your car is fucking sound man can't wait for the track videos!

boqer123 if your going onto a track make sure you keep your engine cool so get a new intercoller ,spark plugs, and MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE REFURBISHED ANND WORKING AS THEY should otherwise that car is cool
You should do space grey body paint, wine red rims, white brake pads, carbon connet!
U should come back to Hastings they built new ramps at the scource I'm a local and I find them sick
get a body kit, slam it so the tires rub, put a fake turbo whistle in exhaust, massive spoiler and fluorescent green mirror would look savage
Boqer123 - If your thinking about doing trackdays then i'd add the following things to your Cupra :
Whiteline Rear Anti Roll Bar,
Quaife ATB LSD,
Bucket seats in the front & strip the rear out (i'd only strip the rear out for trackdays tho and i'd reinstall the rear interior when not doing trackdays) ,
Brake upgrade (Discs / Pads / Braided brake Lines / Brake Fluid)
Full service .

I'm guessing your not wanting your old coilovers seeing as you used vice grips on the rear shock rod, u should use an offset spanner on the top nut and an alley key in the top of the shock or vice grips if it's like a flattened bit on the top
