I hear ya man. I'm 61, but my brother was 7 years older and introduced me to Zeppelin when they first came out. I've been loving ALL their music all of my life! Took the bus into downtown Toronto in the 70's to watch The Song Remains the Same at least a dozen times in the 70's. I was all hyped up for their 1980 your before Bonham died. Not a word of a lie, I dreamed I was at the concert and Bonham collapsed on the drum kit. The lights came on in the concert hall and I woke up. Two hours later s buddy called me to tell me Bonham had died that night. Not kidding. My emotional connection with this band goes deep into my soul. I saw Page and Plant years later on the No Quarter tour...the BEST concert I've ever experienced!
I have gotten introduced to them by a cousin around 1993 when I met my first high school girlfriend which is now my wife & I’m very thankful for Led Zeppelin amongst others, I was born in 76 !
Whats up im Kenny great band the best to me 66 now got lucky seen them in 73 for 550 not bad great show four hours they never played with no back up group just zepplín ✨️BOSTON ma
I remember my older brother went to that show. I wanted to go so bad and then they were coming in 1975 but a bunch of hoodlum idiots trashed the box office waiting for tickets and Led Zeppelin ended up banned from Boston.
There was no such thing as an 18 string back in those days Jimmy page was playing this on a 12 string guitar on a double knit SG I seen him do it in concert👍🏼😀☮️🎸
Actually this song was played on the 6 string, the 12 string on his double neck was for The Song Remains The Same, he had the double neck made for him so he could perform that song and this song back to back without a guitar change.
I turn 78 very soon. I've always liked this group. I don't recall this song. My ear often misses the actual words. By chance, I came across a reference to it on RUclips. I listened to it. Nothing! Then, I listened to it while seeing the lyrics. Oh my!!!! What makes it come to life is a continuance of my year-long metamorphosis from sadness to joy. Several days after Christmas last, I met someone, my first romance in exactly fifty years. He is taking me to Spain for my birthday. I was already floating. Now, I spar as never before with tears of joy. Thank you, RUclips, and from the bottom of this rusty old heart, Thank you, Led Zeppelin! ❤
I was lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin on my 18th birthday day on the green #7 Oakland. Ca July 23rd 1977 a great band their music sounds like it could have been written today thanks guys for all the wonderful memories.
Father will this pain ever subside? Is it not supposed to for to make me feel again? To feelpain is in itself a humbling experience for one suchas me .thank you for the pain i carry daily ❤❤❤
NOT EVEN IN eminem's WETTEST, FUCKTARDED DREAMES, CAN HIS SUB-MORONIC BLATHERING VERBAL DIAHRREA BE EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERED AT ALL SIMILAR TO THESE ROCK GODS.
It’s funny my note and chord choices are inline with page, even though I didn’t grow up with zeppelin as my dad and uncles were into (Floyd) and my first zeppelin album was encomium which was 90’s bands performing zeppelin but yeah when I play page like musical pieces other musicians are like that sounds to old and bluesy.. tricords and whatnot
@@k.robert6279Because Chiara brilliantly captures the beautiful simplicity of the song in a way that honors the original version and the musicians who created it. That’s what great music does … build bridges and shared experience between generations of people!
Can't believe I've been playing this for 52 years now 68 and still love all of their work

52, 68 OR 168, THEIR MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE OR NOT APPLY, IT IS ETERNALLY SUBLIME, HENCE THE TERM "ROCK GODS".
TRUE QUALITY AND FINE ART ARE THE VERY DEFINITION OF TIMELESSLY ETERNAL,...RARE AND USUALLY QUITE PRICELESS.
Love this song. My best friend use to sing it to me. Miss him so much he passed from cancer😢
Although I'm already 68 yrs old I still love all their songs ... Old age never change my taste 😁😁😁
Keep on rocking bro! 😎

This hits an old man in the heart ❤..love it😢😊
Timeless classic 😉
My all time favorite Zeppelin tune. Jimmy on the 18 string is just amazing.

Zoso
This beautiful work of art can keep on going forever…sooooo amazing and I think it will! 💕
This has to be the most musically sensitive song Led Zeppelin has ever written or performed, melodically and lyrically.

Thank you, Led Zeppelin!

Великие и легендарные красавчики золотой эпохи !!!
Amazing comments. I am also 68 and had this album when it first came out. Haven’t heard this in full for nearly 50 years. Just haunting.

Beautiful music
All I can say is thanks for your amazing music! It really makes this world better.
Was a different time. It was before I was born but I'm addicted to the music
Very different,...but better late than never, once the tunes burn into your soul, there just is nothing like it anywhere, forever.
Man fears time. Time fears Led Zeppelin.
Saw him sing this in Cardiff earlier this year, still brilliant
Great times right here by your side 😀❤️ you
Love this song soooooooo much! ❤️
JUST YOU AND APPROXIMATELY 987 MILLION OTHER FANS WITH EXQUISITE TASTE IN EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH-QUALITY MUSIC.
I remember 20 years ago as I was driving alone 500 km this was in the background.
This is solid gold.
TRIPLE PLATINUM, ACTUALLY,...SINCE 1981.
Twinning vines clinging to a good thing beautiful picture
Mostri sacri! Una vera e straordinaria collaborazione! Infallibile!
Father will this pain ever subside? Is it not supposed to for to make me feel again? To feelpain is in itself a humbling experience for one suchas me .thank you for the pain i carry daily ❤❤❤
Most EXCELLENT
ETERNALLY SUBLIME,... AS LUCK AND SKILL WOULD HAVE IT.
Indeed..
This is the song I give to you Morgan 💗
LO MEJOR , DE LO MEJOR MUNDIAL
DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Who else but Led Zeppelin could use the word 'quotient' in a classic love song... maybe Eminem.
NOT EVEN IN eminem's WETTEST, FUCKTARDED DREAMES, CAN HIS SUB-MORONIC BLATHERING VERBAL DIAHRREA BE EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERED AT ALL SIMILAR TO THESE ROCK GODS.
if you excluded the word love you could considerate eminem
Robert wrote this tune in reference to his frustration with Jimmy Page. It's a great song ✅🎼⚡
I always loved their symbols, each represents one of the band members. From left to right it's jimmy, Bonham, Jones, and plant
My song my life my heart❤❤

My love🩵
My ultra logical uncle said one time..."could you imagine the taxes these guys had to pay?...must have been astronomical" 😅🤣😂
Check out Chiara Kilching's version of this song...
WHY EXACTLY, WHEN YOU HAVE ORIGINAL ARTIST AND PLATINUM PRODUCTION QUALITY OF THEIR ART FORM. ANYTHING ELSE WILL PALE POORLY IN TRUE COMPARISON.

No words
AS THEY WILL ONLY FAIL AND SERVE NO PURPOSE IN DESCRIBING THE MIRACULOUSLY SUBLIME.
