I find it disingenuous for content creators who are social critics (especially ones who throw around the word 'patriarchy') to run ads hypocritically supporting selling out to big companies. However my livelihood does rely on these platforms to make my own services known.

I'm going to have to sit with this for a long while. There were parts of it that I immediately reacted to, but I understood what was happening in those moments, and I kept listening. This was so powerful. I have Mars in Aquarius and that's the best description I've ever heard. My entire life has been about figuring out what I don't want first, and it put me through so many trials and there was so much suffering. When I began my awakening I was drawn to the new age beliefs at first, but I quickly realized there is no way anyone is just high vibe all the damn time. Life can be insufferable, and it can be beautiful. And the answer is not in demonizing one or the other, but in accepting and understanding the duality.

I really can relate to what you're saying. I go to a Yoga centre that has some good people, but also a large amount of wealthy hippies that get to travel the world. I live in a small northern town in Canada. I work at a homeless shelter for the most sweet and lovely folks who are truly suffering every day. I don't have a lot of friends as this new age movement has hypnotized so many people. I guess what I'm saying is, you're not alone. There are true lights of human souls that are lighting the way serving honestly with true compassion amongst the suffering and darkness of the world. I love the dark aspects of myself as they have brought me to where I am. I love your videos because they are raw and real. A glimpse of the actual real world around us. American New Age, the dominant paradigm of Asheville, is a descendent of Protestant Predestination, where Puritans believed that god already knew who was going to heaven so he started rewarding people while they were still on earth. They used this belief to convince poor people it was their own fault they were poor, god was punishing them for their sinful nature. So, wealthier people weren't obligated to be charitable toward them since they were marked as sinners.
American New Age says if you're poor or not getting the love or whatever you want, it's your fault for not manifesting it. If you just believed you were worthy, or could imagine hard enough- all your problems would be magically solved. It's great when upper middle class ladies shopping at Earthfare want to explain this to the little people.
