Exploring Utila Honduras (2019) Adventure Kayaking and Scuba Diving

- In this episode we continue exploring the beautiful island of Utila in Honduras. On our last day on Utila, we have a very adventurous day. We kayak (Canoe) across the island for about 45 mins, through the mangroves and arrive on the northern shore.
We then paddle to a small island, leave the kayak, put on our scuba gear and have a wonderful hours dive before heading back for a picnic on a deserted beach.
It was a wonderful way to spend our last day on the island . - Thank you to Parrots Dive Center for arranging it

In case you don't know us - let us introduce ourselves - we are Chris (48) & Marianne (51). We are a married travel couple. We recently quit our jobs and sold our belongings to travel full time.
After more than 22 years of marriage we are still best friends
The aim is we are going to step foot in every country in the world before we die - or die trying !. We are currently also planning an epic around the world road trip. So stayed tuned for more clips as we TREAD the Globe in either Trudy the TREAD camper van or armed with our backpacks!
We will share with you our adventure and will post regular vlogs and videos of our full time travels showing the best the world has to offer and hopefully inspire you to travel more.
Currently we are backpacking our way around El Salvador and over the months will be continuing to explore and sharing the rest of Central America.

I went to Utila on December 2020. Explored the island on a golf cart. I did kayak and snorkeling at Roatan though

Hi Josie - The divers were all Open Water or above PADI trained, but not everyone had canoed before ... It was a great experience, if you contact Parrots, they will guide you and train you to dive if you need it and they organised the canoes !! amazing 😍🤗🦀🐟🐠🙌 defo one to put on the list !! kind regards Marianne and Chris xx
