Laying in the hospital getting palliative care for cancer and up pops a 2 part smoke odyssey featuring a siege by a bear, a monster and a rogue player and a rescue by what can only be described as a Special Forces “A” Teamm. This rescue develops crusade into the tundra to an almost unbelievable location . Thanks for easing the mind and body Smoke!

I'm moving into my second year of parent hood with my youngest coming around 2 months. It's honestly become very hard to keep up with your content even on your main channel. Obviously don't have the time to play anymore but I do enjoy your uploads every one. I binge watch/catch up on your videos late nights when I'm feeding the baby and can't wait til the day I can return to mnk when the kids get older and a bit more independent.

@4:15:07 yea tasks are cool and all on a tarkov aspect but if u really play dayz, u dont have to be told the tasks. Its survival. I love not being told a task to git gud at a game. Elden ring done that for me as well, being my first souls game.

There is NO good sitting posture.
Most healthy one out of all of them is achievable with controller, but still sitting is super unhealthy if you don't move, stand up in between (every 30 minutes-hour at least)
Abd even with very good posture and moving in between - it's super unhealthy. But you can train against it at least

This is the official second channel for longer format stuff, other games and one off's that don't really fit into the main channel. Smokes entire Dark and Darker VOD series from Twitch is coming soon, for example. Just helps to keep the main YT channel DayZ focused.

No. I like DayZ's deer sounds. I'm a deer hunter, though I haven't been hunting since my father passed away, so I know the sounds aren't exactly realistic. Although they are close to some Elk sounds. But the sounds are very unique to DayZ. They are a DayZ signature, in my opinion.
I actually get nostalgia when I hear the deer sounds. It reminds me off my first time playing DayZ and I'd be out in the woods, basically hiding, and I'd hear that sound and wonder what it was.
I can remember tracking my first deer down and seeing it through my scope, making that sound. I like it. I'd miss it if it was removed. It's just become a part of the game for me. Just like I miss the ability to tap someone on the arm with the instant "Check pulse" ability, by tapping F on someone. I really wish they'd bring that back. Or add an emote that does the same thing.

@@kay-OH-ess2 hard disagree. There’s tons of different players. Some can’t hear, some can’t talk. Some are using a fucking pipe connected to their mouth. This kind of gatekeeping in the community is toxic. I’m saying this as someone that played arma 3 mod. It’s a game. There shouldn’t be community forced guidelines on how a person chooses to play. We could have so many more players if there wasn’t that “no mic no life” idea. Imagine a freshie, just bought the game and can’t talk or figure out his mic, and every time he sees someone, he gets KOS cause of the player rule. Not a game rule, a rule a bunch of elitists have pushed on everyone. It’s BS, and if you you can’t recognize that, I feel bad for you.
