Just home from filming Episode 2 of A FORT IN THE WOODS......big changes to the fort, and my first overnighter at the fort. I am very excited about this series, I feel extremely energized about going out there, improving the fort and filming it. Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to do this :)
@@adventuresofhunter you are welcome, you should try to build what you can with what you have, I'm sure you will be surprised what you can do with little

Just want to say thank you Joe, you inspired me to get my daughters into camping. They are 8 and 5 years old and I am sure their little sister who is 2 will enjoy it as well when she gets older. My wife isn't really into camping so the girls and I go out on the weekends and have a daddy daughter trip. It has been amazing learning from you and applying some of the things you do down here in Texas.
i am a new comer to joe robinet but even i am missing scout he was a fantastic dog he makes me laugh when he pinching the wood joe chops when he not looking...
The fall whilst trying to pull that bushy tree from its base, was priceless, pure keystone cop comedy. You could’ve really hammed that up, but the smile and the emptying of snow from your gloves whilst saying nothing was comedy genius.... 😂😂😂
It’s been a while since I’ve heard you say “this is good, I’m enjoying myself out here alone”... it means you’re content and happy!! That’s a good place to be sir!!
Minute 12:10-20 of the video is my favorite great Joe moment. "Oh she's bushy, very bushy!" And then.....Full on Laugh!! Charlie Chaplin style on that one!! Love it. Thanks for this "Fort" series and for sharing your life with us in this way brother! Priceless. Also, I'm praising God for Autumn's healing. Total miracle Joe!

I'm really, really glad that i was born 1994 and learned all this as a child. Being out in the woods, make a shelter, make a fire just with a string and sticks and stuff. Dude this generation ( atleast from the german point of view ) would be totally lost. 100% Oh i loved it :D we always played a funny game. A spotter was at a higher position and we had to crawl as closest as we could without him spotting us (we all had camouflage clothing of course). I quite "forgot" this over the time. Thx for bringing these memories back
YEAH BUDDY! Joe over here fueling my camping/bush craft addiction! Thank the lord! I am sooo happy to see you back at it and planning to do an entire series. Hopefully there are lots of episodes and I hope you upload them often. I really hope people depreciate how much you go through just to make a video. You drive so many miles and hours away from your home and family just to be able to be in a suitable forest for our and your enjoyment. Also breaking the fourth wall a bit here SPOILERS. You put the camera down and then walk past it just for a shot, only having to walk all the way back to pick up the camera. Now personally I find this silly and a waste of time but thats just me. Now to mention the THOUSANDS of dollars you have spent to bring us better quality videos in more extreme conditions or far away trips. You are amazing and I love watching your videos. You inspire so many to just get out and enjoy the outdoors. I for one am starting my own Outdoors content this summer as I am making it my goal to get out and go camping, fishing and hunting as much as I can. Due to my health issues it will be a challenge and probably very painful but to me the enjoyment will be worth it. Keep on making the great videos and dont be afraid to try new things! God Bless!
Joe's skills as a videographer are outstanding, so you would be well served to take a page from his book and if you do decide to make videos, offer some interesting content. Use different camera angles and note that the long shots are part of this. If you don't take the time, your videos will be boring.

How many young adults now a days have never built a fort? It's sad really. The future is a dark place if we forget how to play in the woods.

Joe I grew up in the states 50 miles from the Canadian border, spent so much time in the woods as a youngster. The snow and the outdoors, was a way of life. You make me miss those days! For those viewers that have never experienced that life.....you are missing out. ✌🏻
I’ll have to watch this later. Hoping for some shovel talk.
These mini-series are my favorite, I would much rather watch this than TV any day.
Mind: I can do this easy
Irl: how do I even put this there how do i even use this axe
So happy to hear the good news about your daughter. Looking forward to seeing the FORT go up. Cheers, from the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, USA. 👍👍
You are the man. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad to hear our prayers were answered for your daughter Joe! I'm glad that you have a place to make a base camp again. This was a fun video to watch, and I'm excited to watch this camp improve over time.

Man that looks like hard conditions for building a permanent shelter... Sorry "Fort" I look forward to seeing the progress 👍👍👍
The sound of the axe cutting wood is so satisfying!
Is it possible you could build a little tree house?
That would be so cool!
Also, of course, Love your videos!
I would love to make one for my Daughters, I may do that this spring/summer

I know, and I was surprised he didn't edit that out, lol.
That’s what’s great about Joe. He doesn’t only show the perfect shot, he shows us the good, bad, and the snowy. :)
@@tatsu24 He sure does.
Joe is just too cute! He did that slip/fall perfectly and the way he just stood there when he got up was so Joe. I watched it several times just to see his expression. Love you, Joe. You have a good sense of the comedic in you. Please never change.
Oof and F
Love it to open my notifications to see a new Joe Robinet video.

Good ol joe robinet 👌🏼
The falling snow is beautiful, Joe, and you get to be there to witness it in person.
Burr! From Texas. The mosquitoes are a bout to get bad here in the woods ! So bad, that one pulled a knife on me last year.... 😄😃😎
This is why you keep two Wallets on you one to keep and one to give to the thieving mosquito the bug goes away and you laugh all the way to the blood bank

You should make a main fort area in your backyard for your kids and for you to hang when you can’t leave far from home.
Glad to hear your little one is fine. 💪👍
Enjoy building your Fortress of Soli-Tube.😁 Thanks for bringing us along and not making us shovel.
Peace & Plenty 😎🤘✌️
