I’m terrified of roller coasters, but I finally had the courage to get onto this. Sat 4th row from the front on the outside and when we got near to the top my seatbelt popped and came up. It wouldn’t go back down. Terrifying me screaming for the ride to stop it did. They came up saying someone’s seatbelt had lifted. There was nothing they could do. They said the ride could only go forwards. I pushed it down as far as I possibly could and held for my life as the ride started moving. It clicked and locked just at the last second before it dropped. Very dangerous. Complaint was made for this as they still continued the ride despite seatbelt being undone. Haven’t heard anything back from the park.
@@chrislewis5921 glad you found the confidence to get on the ride. Sorry to hear about the seatbelt though that must’ve been scary, thankfully the restraints are also locked and you got round without injury. Hope it’s not put you off.
I’m here in flamingo land right now but if you have any future plans to go to flamingo ride and wan5 to go on the bigger rides ie Kumasi and mumbo jumbo All rides have a different wind stat and if the wind exeeds the running sped then they will shut them down. Mumbo jumbo and Kumali have the same stat so they will both shut down. Other rides like hero, sik and velocity don’t shut down because they aren’t that effected by the wind, so if your looking to go to flamingo land, the best time is to go in a time when it’s not as windy. Also,to keep a note, if your going with your child then try go when it’s not half term in Yorkshire as their half terms are different to where I’m from, Lancashire.
