My wife and I made the effort to go a few weeks ago and stayed overnight at the sister hotel. Very unique and surreal experience.

Thank you for feedback. I hope you enjoyed. Some people don't like tingling acidic hot water. The reason I started RUclips is because I wanted to introduce such a unique Japan to everyone. Many cancer patients go to Tamagawa Onsen for hot spring treatment, and many find it to be effective. Although it has not been scientifically proven, it is true that it helps cancer patients and people suffering from other illnesses.
Were you okay with the language problem?
I hope this video is useful to someone

@@LetsgotoCountrysideofJapan Thank you for responding back. I can speak some Japanese. Staff at Shin-Tamagawa can speak English. I also went to the original Tamagawa onsen with a free pass and the young lady at the reception counter was very helpful too.
As for Tamagawa, my wife thought it was depressing to see so many cancer patients laying on the rocks.

@@LetsgotoCountrysideofJapan Shamefully to say, my Japanese is terrible even though I've been to Japan 20+ times in 30 years. The hotel desk clerks at both Shin-Tamagawa and Tamagawa spoke decent English. I was also surprised to hear a young gal at the buffet restaurant speaking Mandarin to other customers.
