      Because it is...Dubai in general is a nightmare, it's pure looks for the riches but the workers that maintain it live in really bad conditions

    As soon as the oil begins to dry out.... so will Dubai and the Emirates. Then, no gold will fill your stmach, no luxury car will quench your thirst. Keep up the good work ;)

    wow an olympic pool is 660,000 Gallons. So a "series" of 200,000 gallon tanks means there is a lot more water inside that building than i would have ever imagined!

    I wanna know how these buildings are heated and how houses in cold places are warmed

    • @Ebbyling
      @Ebbyling 6 лет назад +6

      These buildings are connected to district cooling plants. To maintain the room temperatures during hot & humid summer. District cooling plants are more electrical & water efficient compare to normal chiller units. It also helps to make good revenues for the services provider i believe:).

    I don’t understand why filtered waste water excluding solid waste ie:bath and shower water in high rises is not used to flush toilets on the floors below and/or ran through a turbine to create electricity.
    There would be 2 drain systems. Drain 1 for ejected waste water that would not be reused. Drain 2 water would be filtered and treated into a tank below each floor which could overflow into more tanks in even lower floors . This water would be used to flush the toilets. The filters could be back flushed into drain 2 periodically to remove any waste.

      One issue would be supply, might be more of a demand for gray water than available. Cant have a gray water system and fresh be interconnected for various reasons. Running the gray through a turbine for elcectricty although possible you wouldn't be able to maintain a consitant RPM on the turbine.

      @@randomsanwhich2 how about reservoir for this used water and when its full send it to turbine? I guess too complicated for small result/electricity produced?

    they can use stream water instead pumping water to the top. water streamer less energy additionally pipe don't break out due to Heavyweight Pressure etc

    • @Engineer9736
      @Engineer9736 6 лет назад

      karunai malai What is a water streamer? If you mean steam, i guess the throughput will be way too low, and having salt water in pipelines requires very expensive corrosion resistant pipes.

      @@sarathmohan979 the pipes rise up just past and above the tanks and then are angled back down so water flows out into the top of each tank. This way the water in the pipes is separated from the water collected in the tank. Solving your problem. (I'm just guessing this)
