Most likely because its always the mother who takes care of the child. Everything is always the mother and rarely the father because stereotypically the father is the one who usually works and the mother is at home taking care of the child breastfeeding them etc. All mothers has done a great job I hope their husband helps them more like he does. But yeah who else would take care of that little baby if the mother was sick?

I was praising him because he instead of hiring a nanny,he took care of his own child while being a DOCTOR. We know how busy they can be.
