I'm so excited for this story! I read the book Circe recently, and the author spins together many myths to tell her story. In it, the titan goddess is allowed to leave Alia, her island of punishment, to help her titan sister give birth to the minotaur. She meets Daedalus and their relationship is so beautiful in the brief moments they are allowed to share in their dual imprisonment. Neither are free to love, but they choose it nonetheless.
The depth this book adds to so many myths is so satisfying, I highly recommend it to any modern mythology enthusiasts.

This is the first one that has not put me to sleep 😂 I was so stressed that he was going to lose at some point. And the more he won the more stressed I got that he would lose the next one LOL I needed a “this has a happy ending” warning 😂

If it's any consolation, thank you for being my "this has a happy ending" heads up so that I can be less invested lol!

Fun fact, Minotaur means Mino's Taurus 🐂
He would rather claim the monster as his own, than to lose his stain on history.
And his labyrinth is a maze using the shape of the labrys: a symmetric doubleheaded axe originally from Crete in Greece, one of the oldest symbols of Greek civilization; to the Romans, it was known as a bipennis. 🪓

Did the orb make anyone else uncomfortable or anxious? I’m very spiritual and it was a little off putting for me to have it come into my bedroom

Why bother complaining when you can just skip it? I don't listen to the beginnings either, I like to finish winding down & get into bed while listening to the story. Weird choice to be rude about free content, nobody made you try it
