I think the speckling on the suit is maybe supposed to give the effect of the coarse tweed material which Loomis' suit was made of. If so, it hasn't worked particularly well. Speckling with three or four subtle shades of brown would've surely given a better effect, if that's what they were going for. Also, according to Neca, that Myers sculpt is just a resized version of the sculpt on the retro-clothed Myers by Trevor Grove.
Both, Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis look great. I like the Michael Myers head sculpt, as well as the coveralls. The figure looks even better with the flame effects attached to it. The Dr. Loomis head sculpt in particular is spot on accurate in terms of resembling actor Donald Pleasence. However, it's a shame that there is some white paint that made its way onto the left side of his neck. The speckling was added in order to replicate the material that was utilized for 70's suits. Both figures come included with a pretty good amount of accessories as well. The Cult Creations diorama display compliments both pieces rather nicely. Thanks once again Dean!

its awesome because as their perfecting these myers head sculpts when we do eventually get a 78 myers it should be perfect......which is the one that needs to be anyway....but i love the fact that they figured out the color of the jumpsuit because its that hunter green but does look blue in certain light...Loomis is just crazy...brilliant sculpt......i love this set
I believe the speckles is supposed to indicate texture since Loomis was wearing a woven/wool fabric suit ; I think its something that can grow on you; I think that gave it so much detail.
I have the Neca Reel Toys standard Halloween 2 version of this. What an awesome upgrade. I see they changed the design of the jack o lantern. The original version has to be opened it up to reveal the skull inside. But you already know that, see you have the original too😎 The Halloween Kills figure is my favorite out of all of these, but the new H2 deluxe is fantastic too.
I have all the ultimate and cult classic figures with all the retro cloths except for the retro Halloween 2 pack that I’ll probably eventually get. They just don’t size well with the ultimates ect. I have the Halloween 3 kids with the ultimates as they just look like big kids. Nice review.
Very nice, I agree with you about the retro cloth is the best Part 2 Myers. You should try to convince Tinela to make a pair of coveralls for the Neca Retro Cloth Myers, if she was to do that it would make that figure perfect 👍🏼
It'd be extra fantastical if you were able to place some kind of bright light under the figure to enhance the flames. Or even some 3D realistic painting on the flames.

I'm still so miffed that Big Bad Toy Store hasn't shipped out the preorders of this set yet. It looks absolutely awesome and finally a Loomis that isn't going for over 200 dollars plus on Ebay ( the Legacy of Evil figure set MOC is over 500 dollars. Way too rich for my blood...) The speckling reminds me way too much of the paint chipping that happened on my Mattel Legacy Collection Spinosaurus. It's lousy application of the paint and I hope it's not a common occurrence with this Loomis figure....
The paint speckles on Dr. Loomis’s shirt is on purpose. In the beginning of the first movie you can see this. The speckles are just part of the design of his shirt. They did this to be movie accurate.
Would it be possible to pop the hair off the original Ultimate Halloween II Myers and place it on the new head sculpt? Kind of like you did with the TOTS 78 Myers?
i will get this I'll promise myself .. i love to get dr.loomis and that new Michael headaculpt is so awesome i think it looks more like the 1978 the face sculpt anyway but the headshape is definitely H2
But at the end of the first movie lumis shots myers six times after he is trying to strangle laurie then myers falls off the balcony onto the floor then lumis looks over and sees michael has vanished then runs downstairs and sees he's still not there but lumis never sees michael just standing there outside the door I have seen it countless times and know everything that happens
This version makes the first ultimate H2 look ridiculous, like you said his head looks and face look squeezed together…he actually looks constipated imo ! lol and when compared to this new version, it actually doesn’t look like it belongs to any of the movies now. I hate it when Neca does this..they do give you Dr. Loomis to make up for it though, ok fine I’ll buy it. 🎃
All the Loomis figures have the same speckled effect. It's deliberate as its supposed to be a tweet fabric "look". So put the paintbrush down It's the way it's supposed to be. 🙂
I bought 2 sets of these figures and one of my loomis figures has fine speckles which isn’t too bad but the other one looks dreadful and comic and cocktails won’t accept a return because it’s been opened

2021 myers and 2018 are better but the accesories are better on this
Idk if anyone mentioned yet, the speckles are to mimic the mixed fibers in the old suit. Which isn't a solid color. Love the set tho!!

I can answer that. It wont work AS IS, the cutout is a different shape so you'd have to carve it alittle. After that, it may work.
