      Do you find your customers using your mini PCs to stream with Roon or Plexamp? It seems there is a high-end application for the machines.

    I've been using mini pcs for a while, but it's awesome to see the improvements in performance, and reductions in price

    Speaking of smartphones, why don't we have mini PCs in the from-factor of a smartphone with a case? I'm sure the RAM sticks can be placed on a side, and the same for the heatsinks. And adding a smartphone touchscreen could make it even more useful. Bonus points for one of those ultra-thin laptop keyborads, in the same size as the touchscreen and PC itself. You could fold the keyboard one way and the screen the other way, to have a tiny but usable PC with a physical keyboard, though you might need some thumb-tacks for pressing a single button with each, and they could use velcro so they can be one-size-fits-all.

      @@SapioiT that would be really neat. Or even something similar in size to the Geekom with a foldable screen and keyboard.

      @@Toid I agree. They could have a model like the Samsung Galaxy Flip, but I would personally prefer one the size of a smartpone (even if thicker), with a foldable display which to turn the smartphone into a tablet. Heck, even having the same thickness as the smallest PC he is using, when you include the foldable screen, would be great.

    I wonder how the base models compares with a low tier M4 Mac Mini which is about the same price.

      @@danrussell9357 that would be a really cool test. I would love to see that.

    Ha these are great, I don’t have a need for one now but it’s nice to know how capable they are, thanks!

    The base model would be great for my wife. It could replace our "household" pc and free up a LOT of desktop area. The girls would probably like the A9 model.

      @@brianraulerson5037 I agree. I think those base models would be good for emulation as well.

    Ok, where can I get detailed instructions on how to turn one of these into a DSP?? I am in!

      @Toid  3 дня назад +1

      @@otherwillsmith Brian Zehng is the master at that. I’ll have to see if I can get them on sometime and have him walk us through what he thinks is the best way.

    • @otherwillsmith
      @otherwillsmith 3 дня назад +1

      That would be amazing! There are some options out there, but by the time I get to something that has all of the functionality I’m looking for, they start to get really pricey. I would love to build something that I could configure, where I could decide on IO options and fidelity. Thank you sir!

    Ok I don't which one to look at for me. I need something that will let me play any pinball game for the atgames pinball machine.

    • @Toid
      @Toid  3 дня назад

      @@donjaun540 some of that is going to depend out what resolution you want any to play it. Obviously for the best game performance the A8 Max and A9 Max will give you that. But for pinball I’m not sure you need that. I need to get one into test it sometime. I’m thinking something similar.
