Class 37 thrash at Folkestone Harbour, 20/10/07.

Footage of Pathfinder's 'Atomic Harbour Master' tour which started with 86 101 working the 1Z86 06:08 Crewe - London Euston with two Eurostar Class 37s added in Wembley Yard.
We start off at Euston and take a look at 37 601 + 37 603 which were soon to be transfered to DRS ownership. The pair worked the 1Z87 09:45 Euston - Folkestone Harbour with 37 603 running round the train in Sevington Goods Loop ready for the decent into Folkestone Harbour later on.
The footage continues at Folkestone Harbour ready for the highlight of the journey; the 1Z88 15:00 departure to Dungeness starting with the mammoth 1 in 30 incline which can be seen ahead of 37 601. Due to the severity of the gradient, 37 603 was assisting the train from the rear which is normal practice for loco hauled trains down the branch. Keep watching to 2:09 where the anchors are unexpectedly thrown in. 37 601 was still going for it!
