Kevin Conroy is Batman and Mark Hamill is The Joker. Absolute Perfection.
Classic dynamic duo
Don’t forget about the original Harley Quinn Arleen
They are the best of the best 🥇
THATS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT !!!
Yep perfect
16:10 Oracle AKA Barbara Gordon is the daughter of commissioner James Gordon and was originally Batgirl. She became Batgirl when she was a teenager because she was inspired by Batman and Robin and wanted to protect people. Years later she was shot through the spine by the Joker and became paralysed so she became Oracle. Eventually she got better in the comics (don't ask how) and became Batgirl again. In the comcs Barbara and Dick Grayson (the first Robin and later became Nightwing) are in a relationship. Barbara is currently around her mid-20s.
Thanks for explaining ❤
She "got better" with technology, she has a brace that helps her( it's more technical than just a brace though)
That was a dark dark story
@@The_Acolyte_of_Spider-Man you should re-type that. Its almost unintelligible.
@@The_Acolyte_of_Spider-Manthat's just a theory that was never confirmed but your still free to believe so
Just so there isn't any confusion, because these games are for the most part almost entirely comic accurate unlike some the movies, Joker doesn't wear any make-up. In fact, during his first encounter with Batman, he was disguised as the criminal Red Hood and he accidentally falls in a vat of acidic chemicals and as a result his entire skin is permanently bleached white, his hair is turned naturally green and his lips have a blood red colour. He doesn't wear any make-up whatsoever.
**4 games
If you count the ps vita game and some mobile games set in Arkham games.
3 games made by the same team, 1 game by a separate branch. Also, SSKTJL did not have any of the original writers on the team, so I don't consider it a continuation of the trilogy either. My personal take at least.
@@BrandonDuckettSeeing how Suicide Squad killed the Justice League is a complete disrespect to everything about the Arkham franchise I will never accept it as Canon
He does use makeup to touch up his blotches in arkham city, but yes, I don't think he used it prior.
Before continuing with the other Arkham games, highly recommend reacting to the interview tapes of the game because they offer some of the best and most thought-provoking conversations in the entire game and every subsequent games has its own interview tapes as well.
I second this
Same! They're short videos to do and help expand the lore
If its not important to understand the next few games, then they probably won't
@@GoliathWarfaretrue but it's an extra video to get more views out of
Hear hear!
Waylon Jones AKA Killer Croc isn't an actual crocodile or a mutant. He was a regular person born with an extreme form of the medical condition that resembles Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis but is actually regressive Atavism, which caused his appearance to develop progressively into that of a crocodile, hence his name. Waylon was put under the guardianship of his incredibly abusive and alcoholic aunt after his mother died giving birth to him and his father had abandoned him. Waylon had no friends, and was the object of constant ridicule of those who knew him and as a result he grew to resent all of humanity.
My memory is a bit hazy, but didn’t they kind of change that in Arkham knight to make them more actually reptilian
someones a batman fan
And then he grows a tail in Knight.
@@hollyredmond8688he was experimented on and he started mutating as the games went on
If you're curious, Oracle is Barbara Gordon, who was formally Batgirl. Joker shot her in the spine, and she became paralyzed from the waist down. Since she couldn't go out crime fighting anymore, she became Oracle and is Batman's "guy in the chair"
Literally
Why spoiler it though? Let them find out watching the games
@@Gusr404 That's not a spoiler. Even though it's shown in a later entry of the series, the player is expected - although not required - to know this much. (Imagine if we couldn't say Batman is Bruce Wayne until they begin Batman Arkham City!)
@@joaocarlosdarosafagundes7482 this story of mostly told on the comic books, most people only know batman from the movies, justice league, are not avid fans, so thats why the games retell this story so even people new to batman lore will understand, and even if they don't know this before, they will express an good reaction when they find out through the game, but if they already know the shock factor is reduced.
Its an mild spoiler I would say
@@Gusr404 1) There's a gap of 6 years in real life between Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight; thus, even if the developers weren't expecting people to know about who's Barbara and what's happened to her when the former came out, it's unlikely they were counting on it among the players of the latter, where the scene was shown.
2) Arkham Asylum tells you the story on her bio, which shows they weren't overly preoccupied with keeping the secret (or they were just very bad with secrets; well, I may not tell them anything I don't want to be publicly revealed, to be sure):
"The daughter of Gotham City's Police Commissioner James W. Gordon, Barbara Gordon was forbidden by her overprotective father from joining the GCPD. Instead, she took on the identity of Batgirl and was a crime-fighting partner of Batman for years. But that all ended when the Joker shot her through the spine.
Paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair, Barbara adopted the new identity of Oracle, and now aids the Dark Knight with her computer expertise, providing Batman with a constant stream of information in the field to aid his battle against crime."
(I hope you don't think his comment spoiled her bio.)
23:43 Batman does not kill. It's something the live-action adaptations have not done a good job depicting almost at all. The only live-action portrayal to really showcase it well was Robert Pattinson's Batman.
So glad you put out all these comments. I just hope they read them.
There was a time he did. And I think bats will save or resist killing, but if he cant, he moves passed it. Sometimes his recklessness can cause deaths, or severe injury to criminals.
@@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935 And there was a time when Superman didn't fly. It was well before the character were defined as the versions of themselves we know now.
There's just as many versions of him killing than not to the point that It's become a running joke. No there fine, their just unconscious

This version of Harley never fell into acid (most versions didnt). Thats jokers backstory. Harley just fell in love (and obsession) with the joker and put on makeup to fit in with him.
Harlyes chemical bath was moreso the Jared leto joker.
@@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935 yeah but then they put it into some comics and shows because ,,MaInStReAm"
This one of those franchises where getting the proper voice actors is as about as important as the gameplay and story itself
Arkham asylum is known to be the creepiest out of them all
*Asylum:* Atmosphere
*City:* Story
*Origins:* Cinematics and boss fights
*Knight:* Gameplay, graphics, side missions and DLC.
Barbera Gordon is both Batgirl and Oracle. She was Batgirl then became the lady in the chair. She was paralyzed by Joker
Batman is one of the only characters that ACTUALLY has a strong "No killing" rule. Even the Marvel guys kill and Spider-Man absolutely has too. Batman's no killing rule is the main point of contention between him and Red Hood and also the main thing his villains tend to exploit or use against him. (mainly Joker but also Deathstroke, Riddler, Azreal, Bane and others have done so in the past)
I believe it's one of the reasons why he's also so loved as a character. So many others both in dc and other franchises will cross that line, but this 1 person refuses to.
@@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935 NOT AT ALL. He is loved because he doesn't have superpowers but can go toe to toe with a superhero like Superman, not necessarily physically. Nobody except some gatekeeping fanboys who don't know comic book history care about the no-kill rule. Batman has killed directly or indirectly. The no-kill rule was only introduced during the Comic Code era which was ultimately responsible for Batman comics going colorful and campy and leading to the Batman TV show from the '60s. Batman's origin is as a pulp hero.
I guess there's one Marvel character that doesn't kill anyone and I think that character is "Daredevil"
1:20:59 The Dark Knight Rises’s Bane was just weird 😂 I’m sorry that it was your first introduction to the character. But yes, Bane is latino, usually wears a luchador mask (or variations of it) and pumps his body full of an addictive substance named “Venom”. Which he uses to enhance his strength, but at the cost of his intelligence and rationality. The movie had none of that
Yeah It's always funny for those who only know the character from the movie. As good as Nolan's movies were, Bane in the Dark Knight Rises was pretty much an original character that shares nothing with the source material, besides the back story of growing up in a prison
I originally had mixed feelings about hardys Bane voice. But the mask accent satisfied the hispanic accent for me that time. Plus it's been poked fun at a few times and I enjoy it for that.
@@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935 Oh yeah, his voice is heavily parodied in the Harley Quinn show lol
Ppl can hate Batman and Robin but I am glad I get to see a better babe design then the meh one in rise which the whole trilogy change because helath ledger die all future plan went down with it with the Arkham asylum joker origin movie is impossible without health ledger continue vision
At the cost of his intelligence in the Arkhamverse sure. In the comics bane is highly intelligent with Venom use. Also it's not simple venom that made Bane dumb as shown in Arkham Origins. It was a heightened venom formula similar to Titan.
Bane in this series is a bit of an anomaly in that they made him kind of a big dumb strong guy, which isn’t what Bane is yes he’s big and strong, and venom pushes him into superhuman levels of strength, but he’s also brilliant he learned Batman was Bruce Wayne on his own and I know he’s famous for breaking his back, but that whole fight also displayed how strategic he was he knew he was slower and not as good a fighter as Batman so before he ever fought him he pulled off a plan breaking down the walls of Arkham releasing the rogues and he let Batman exhaust himself for a month catching all of them before he finally ambushed him and fought him in the Batcave ultimately breaking his back, honestly the best version of Bane in this series is Arkham Origins, it even gives an explanation for why he’s just a big dumb brute in the other games
I enjoy these video game cutscene reactions with Hayley.
Oh, we're back to this?!? YAY!!!!!! THANKS for this!!!
The reason Batman stares at items is because there's supposed to be a tutorial for the item, but the player has disabled the text boxes for some reason. Bosses also have health bars.
I love that every time the game explicitly says Batman can't go somewhere you wonder why he's not going that way
Best Batman and Joker ever
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill
Unfortunatelly the video cut the parts of the game where Batman talks with Riddler. It's a bit of a shame because these games have the best and most accurate depiction of the Riddler. It's why I really recommend listening to the interview tapes of the games because they really expand on the characters.
I don't think you need The Riddler to fully understand the story, he's mainly a side quest and just downgraded to that. He never interacts with any of the villains in the entire Arkham series as well.
@@DannsProductions He kidnaps Catwoman in Arkham Knight.
@@The_Phantasm that’s a side mission. Catwoman is not in the main story.
@@DannsProductions Riddler's side mission in Arkham Knight was easily one of the best parts of the game, until we free Catwoman. They were really fun Saw-esque death rooms.
@@harshk9342 That's not the point I was making... I'm just saying Riddler is not part of the main story. While it might be the best part for you, it doesn't change the fact that it's still a side mission.
Oh dang. Get ready for many people to say that you should've played the game.
Yep lol
@@dec2567 i feel like they should have just watched a walkthrough (minus the riddler trophies) so they understand the story
I mean, I doubt they care to spend 40+ hours playing videos games. Why put in the effort when you can watch 2+ hour cutscenes and call it a day.
@@yourbasicninja Then you just won't the know the fun of it.
@mr.zombzo I've played the game and it was great. But I understand that people aren't gamers but only heard about movie-level stories in video games (like Spiderman1 &2 and TLOU) and just wanna watch it.
26:18 You’re right, Barbara was Batgirl. But she was crippled, had to retire the mantle, and became the “guy in the chair” for Bruce and other heroes using the code name Oracle
The Arkham games reaction!?!?! Yes please, I’m here for it!!!🙌🏽😄🙌🏽
A bit about the gameplay you referred to, it’s called the free flow combat system and was initially made as a rhythm based combat system, something like guitar hero. Ultimately they ditched that and and made it the free flow system.
Ladies. You are right. Oracle was Batgirl and is Commissioner daughter and only daughter.
I meant. Commissioner Gordon’s daughter
Interesting fact, the Harley Quinn voice actress was Arleen Sorkin here is the voice to her in the Batman animated series and only voices her for Arkham asylum, she retired from voice acting in 2011 and eventually past away her last portrayal of Harley, Quinn was actually for DC universe online. If I remember correctly, Tara Strong became the new Harley Quinn voice actress for the Arkham series starting in Arkham city oh and none of the voice actors, you’ll hear in Arkham asylum, city, and knight voice there characters for Arkham origins made by different team
Batman staring at his weapon upgrades is a Funny unexpected bit, when all the UI is hidden, normally it will show us whats he holding and how to use it, while Bat stares.
Whoever suggested this in another video i remember an i liked your comment. Looks like they did too and took your suggestion. Good going. Phenomenal game. Played it for hours. Finished it all. Not do much the sequels but only because i had no idea how to play Arkham city.
17:45 I have to say, personally I've never really liked any of Harley Quinn's other designs as much as the original black and red jester outfit that is the one also shown in her character bio. It's just so iconic and more modern designs for Harley fuller a bit more generic.
Oracle is Barbara Gordon. She used to be Batgirl but Joker shot her (not knowing she was Batgirl) and the bully pierced her spine causing her to be paralyzed from the waist down. She still helps Batman having a similar job as Alfred.
Also about Babs she was indeed Batgirl for a time in this universe but like the comics she was shot in the spine by the Joker and paralyzed, becoming Batman’s tech support as Oracle.
The bats showing up are XP after a group of people or bosses or saving security guards or anything really. I'd definitely recommend checking the hidden tapes out after the 2nd part
Classic game, RIP Kevin Conroy.
34:02 The part of the Asylum that you guys said looks like a Victorian house is actually the old Arkham Mansion, the former residence of Amadeus Arkham, which became a regular part of Arkham Asylum after Amadeus went insane.
This is my all time favorite version of The Joker. My entire childhood I never got to see Mark Hamill’s Joker truly cut loose because he was always in a kid’s cartoon rated show. But then I finally got to see and hear Mark Hamill truly cut loose as The Joker.
Wow, the timing of this is certainly remarkable. Given the more recent, disappointing news about events in the Arkhamverse of characters. Won’t say anymore to avoid spoilers. At least the first four games will be nice to watch.
Marks Joker paired with Kevin's Batman is the best VA combo ever. Fight me!
This is the Superhero game that proved the Superhero genre can work in a video game....
Arkham games is the best games that i have played.
FINALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH TO REACT TO THIS SERIES
YES! They’ve finally started to watch the Arkham games!
I was hoping you guys would cover this phenomenal series!
Barbra Gordon was originally batgirl but after getting shot and paralyzed by joker she continued to help the Bat family by being basically the girl in the chair named oracle.
As oracle she was one of the co-founders and leader of The Birds of Prey. Eventually she would be cured of her paralysis and be batgirl again. I think tech was implanted in her so she could be able to walk again, I can’t remember but I’m sure someone will correct me.
Oracle is Barbara Gordon, which was Batgirl before becoming paraplegic.
Now she helps Batman from the Batcave.
Once you finish Arkham Knight's story when you get there, that's it. There's nothing else.
Agree but I kinda want to see there reaction to it
Come on, let them see it for themselves. They’ll still have fun with it regardless of how a certain someone dies
Yep, definitely. Arkhamverse ends there, unless youre a psycho and somehow like the game that just came out that I wont even mention the name of
What about kill the Jus-?
(GUNSHOT)
@@Aray27 Yep. Nothing else. (hides gun)
I'm so excited for you to watch the stories of the four main Arkham games which are Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, Batman Arkham Origins and Batman Arkham Knight.
Barbara Gordon was Batgirl, but when she got shot in the back by The Joker in The Killing Joke she got paralyzed and was wheelchair bound. She then became Batman's tech help and she took on the name Oracle. But in New 52 she could walk again thanks to some science stuff and became Batgirl again.
No, Batman doesn't kill.
Nostalgia unlocked fully and R.I.P to both Kevin conroy and Arleen sorkin
And oracle is bat girl but in some version of Barbra she gets shot and in the back crippling her for life and she ends up in a wheelchair so she helps out in other ways and she adopts the name oracle and she becomes like Batman’s “man in the chair” kinda character she feeds him information on every and anything
People might say that Luke Skywalker is Mark Hamil’s most iconic performance. But I have to say, it has to be his portrayal of Joker. It’s absolutely immaculate perfection!
WOW what a surprise ladies you will love this series trust me!
8:35 Killer Croc! Decent villian! Also yes. Batman and Spider-Man villains do share some similarities. Batman & Spider-Man do have the best villains in both the Marvel & DC Universes! 🙏🏽💪
23:40 No he does not kill, it’s one of his core characteristics. Redemption and second chances and all that
The Arkham Games are awesome! & the Christian bale trilogy & the new Batman movie have done a good job at showing Batman not killing but all the other movies he killing people 😂but Batman’s big rule in other media is he doesn’t kill it’s his big rule, Joker wanted him to kill in the Dark Knight. Barbra Gordon is Batgirl but she becomes Oracle cause Joker shoots her in the spine paralyzing her so she becomes Oracle and jsut helps Batman with tech stuff from the batcave or her apartment in Gotham .
RIP Kevin Conroy, THE Batman, and farewell to the most magical duo in DC, Conroy Batman and Mark Hamill Joker. Thank you both for everything. 🙏🥲
(Comedy and Action) Movies to watch: The Ringer, Date Night , Jo Koy Don't Make Him Angry Netflix , Fired up , Benchwarmers , Cellular , Fluffy's Magic Mike Story , Stadium Fluffy Netflix , and Hot Fuzz , Transporter 1-2-3, Strays , Knight and Day
Also fun little trivia, Scarecrows claw design is based on Freddy Krueger, masters of fear and all.
Barbara Gordon was Batgirl. Joker shot her in the spine, paralyzing her below the waist. She became Oracle, essentially Batman's tech support/eyes and ears.
Oh wow this is a surprise but an Awesome one!
Oracle is Barbra Gordon, she is Commissioner Gordon’s daughter. She used to be known as Bat girl. Joker shot her and paralyzed her, so now she helps Batman as oracle.
Oracle is the alias for Barbara Gordon. At one point during her career as Batgirl, Joker shot her through her spine and paralyzed her from the waist down. Unable to continue as Batgirl after that, she took over maning the Batcomputer while Batman and the Robins were out on their missions and adopted the name Oracle (although there are a couple of universes where she doesn’t remain permanently paralyzed, and regains her ability to walk through various means, such as a surgically implanted microchip).
Yes Barbara Gordon is commissioner Gordon's daughter and was Batgirl until Joker shot her in the spine and paralyzed her. So she uses her genius cyber-hacking skills to help behind the scenes. She helps not only batman but the justice league as well. Shes a FANTASTIC character in the comics and she forms the team, the Birds of Prey and has Black Canary and Huntress as her field operatives. They're my favorite team. I highly recommend Gail Simone's run on the comic ❤️🔥
It's so cool how each of us notices different things. I never noticed Boles drinking until the girl on the right pointed it out, and I didn't realize Joker meant 'crocs' when he talked about wanting new shoes lol
Barbara Gordon IS Batgirl. However, at some point, Joker comes into the Gordon residence and attacks Jim and Barbara. Joker shot Barbara. She lived, but lost the ability to feel her legs, therefore ending Batgirl. She still wanted to help Batman protect Gotham, so she became the Guy in the Chair, called Oracle.
16:27 Oracle is Barbara Gordon. Aka Batgirl. Long story short, after her last encounter with Joker, she suffered a serious injury that made her paralyze. However, she's still able to help Batman by being his hacker. 💪
Oracle is Barbara. She's Bat girl in a different verse. Barbara was paralyzed by Joker with gun shot to the back. Now she's Oracle in the Arkham verse.
Barbara Gordon was batgirl. She was shot and paralyzed by joker. She couldn’t be batgirl anymore so she became oracle. Sort of an information broker and finder. Yes she knows who Batman is.
55:52 No exactly. Bane has always been a villain. However, the venom makes him stronger. However, he slowly loses some of his intelligence and becomes addicted to the venom. He takes it so he could be strong enough to beat Batman.
Oracle is Barbara Gordon, formally Batgirl. Joker shot her in the spin which paralysed her legs. So she’s now the smart character in the chair who does all the computer stuff. Currently in comics, she’s able to walk again via an implant.
OMG you guys are actually watching the Arkham series. I can't wait for you guys to get to Arkham Knight. The serenading sequence lives in my head rent free 😂
1:20:02 Understandable. Bane story is kind of sad though. He was born in prison on one of the Costa Rica islands, living out his father years. He had a fear of Bats and was always bullied in prison. So he decided to get stronger being the boss of the prison. He studied different languages and gain different knowledge. This prison was also an testing ground. The scienctist there wanted to test this steroid known as the venom to create superhumans. The men that tried it died. However, when Bane tried it, it enhanced his strength. However, the side affects is that he loses some of his cognitive functions and intelligence. Plus, he became addicted to the venom. Hope this makes sense. 🙏🏽💪
17:36 That's the game letting the player know that they've either beaten an enemy combatant or accomplish the task.
For context, the Arkham series is based on Batman: The Animated Series, which has cemented THE definitive version of each Batman character
13:40 Batman has a lot of training! 🙏🏽💪
As others have said y'all should do the "Interview tapes" after each game before moving on to the next for more context and expanded lore. They're usually short videos to watch so just food for thought
This is my favorite version version of joker. The perfect balance of genuinely funny and absolutely terrifying. No other incarnation of Joker can make you laugh and give you the chills at the same time like Arkham Joker
Joker made her fall in love with him . She was joker's Therapist. Her Father was a King Pin
tortured and manipulated a psychologist.
The best Batman and Joker ever!
Batman doesn't intentionally kill people. Joker paralizes Barbara Gordon who then becomes Oracle
If you guys are watching the whole series, please do not pass on Arkham Originis, extremely underrarated but actually one of the best of the franchise
I agree
And better than ssktjl
I can't wait to see arkham city reaction it has the best story and love that game
I can't wait to see Arkham Origins reaction. It is the most movie-like out of all the 4 games and has a terrific Batman and Joker.
He hid the UI that shows health bars and Combo counter...for a movie experience..plus he is not a Pro player, not that it matters a lot..until the final game.
First time playing this game is a core memory for me.
46:00 The player missed out on one of the best dialogues in this game when he rushed the first Scarecrow encounter.
Joker: "Tell me, Bats. What are you really afraid of? Failing to save this cesspool of a city? Not finding the Commissioner in time? ME, in a THONG! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!"
the release and chronogical order are the some: Asylum (2009)/City (2011)/Knight (2015). P.S. Arkham Origin (2013) Chronogical is first but was made by another team so alot of people don't count it a apart of the arkham series, but i love all batman stuff.
And better than ssktjl
The og Batman Arkham Asylum graphic still hold up
"I thought Batman kills", lovely.
40:07 cash lost his arm to kill a croc so those two got beef you won't hear it during the cutscenes that you're watching because The players skimming through the game and showing you in game footage not like pause the game and go straight to audio taping that you'll have to look up yourself
Dc made a comic either last year or year before, finally announced the jokers real name and backstory. His name is Jack Oswald White. He was a comedian that struggled to make money, had a wife that was pregnant, and because everyone knew he was struggling with money, some criminals came to him and offered a deal, he would dress as the leader of the Redhood gang and they would split the profit, he was very unsure about all of it until he thought about his wife and kid, and didn’t want to do it fearing they would resent him for his actions, he declined the offer, later that night, he returned home to find his wife, who was pregnant dead. The cops said it was a break in gone bad. He was heart broken and decided to go back to where he felt best and that was the comedy club, the criminals from earlier “heard” about his wife, and said they were sorry and wanted to help, he eventually decided to do the job and that night he ran into Batman, and while trying to take off the Redhood helmet and surrender, he tripped on the cape and fell into a vat of ace chemical, which turned his skin so pale it’s now white, his hair green, destroyed all identifiable markings, that could time him to his past life, after all of these bad things, it drove him insane and made him no longer care about things, made him laugh and see things that are bad as one giant joke. That’s why he tells people it only takes one bad day to make them just like he is. A lot of comics Batman brings up the fact that he knows jokers real name and everything that happened to him, the second joker hears this, is smile disappears and a look of anger comes to his face, yelling at Batman telling him to shut up or he knows nothing. I believe joker doesn’t want to remember the events because it truly hurts him to his core so he made a persona that allows him to think everything is a joke and he is right in the center of it. Also it is stated that is some comics Joker isn’t insane, he has something called super sanity, and it allows him to realize in some instances he is in a comic, he this statement is true, then he realizes nothing he does matters, he could kill everyone and they would be back in the next comic issue, realizing how funny it is that everything but to ever happen was because of someone who wanted it to happen but will eventually fix it only to make him do it again. He is a very interesting villain. Batman is my favorite character of all time, hero wise, but villain wise, I think I have to say joker just based off how complex of a character he is. Also in comics when Batman became the god of knowledge, and had the Mobius chair, he asked who the joker truely was and the chair didn’t know, the chair that was before the being of the dc universe and has witnessed all in creation, had zero idea who the joker was, but it did reveal that there were 3 running around Gotham. But only one was the true joker, which was Jack Oswald White. If you read this, thank you for sticking to the end, sure i probably have a few things mixed up, haven’t heard a lot of the stories in a while so my mind isn’t fresh on the subject but with what I can remember this is very accurate for how things went in comics. Hope you enjoyed all of those neat facts, Ik I did when I read them

Batgirl/Barbara was shot by the Joker in the spine, and became Oracle
19:26 - Originally she just wore a costume and makeup, her craziness comes from the simple fact that she was manipulated by the Joker. The vat of acid thing was a more recent retcon.

Batman has a no kill rule. The movies generally make him a killer though
Even as far back as keaton which was surprising when I realized it yrs ago. I even tried to count the deaths in each keaton film.
Thank goodness The Batman actually stuck to that rule.
