Thank you for not focusing during X&Y - that album is a masterpiece and one of my all time favs... although, Will is probably referring to the process where they discarded about 40 songs before coming to the final cuts on the album. As well, they had recorded a lot of the album before touring and after playing them live went back in and re-recorded the songs... I can imagine it was a long painful journey, but from pain comes great art! Love the studio. Love Coldplay!
