I liked this video and the Starlink ones (hands-on) that I recently viewed. I think people have a short attention span and look for videos around 5 to 10 minutes long. I would think the shorter the video that harder they are to make. Keep up the good work.
Honestly, as long as you're reading one of those stories I don't really care which one. You're an underrated story-teller. You should do audiobooks. I'd buy them all.
This looks and sounds like a good little mic. I recently bought a Røde NT-USB ($169) after considering several mics, including the mini version of this one. I'm far from an audio pro but I'm very happy with it, having used it for several video voiceovers, web meetings, and a couple of live streams on another guy's channel. Of the two mics, they're both good, but I like the Samson sound better. Especially after you edited them.
It does have a larger capsule which does help for sure. But the C03U was 3x more expensive. I could say this in the video because I didn’t know until the end. I might edit the comment/description. Good information.
I use earbuds so the Samson feels nicer to my ears than the Simorr. It feels a little more solid, but I can see the sharper sound of the Simorr being preferable to some people either ones sounds fine but with the added issue of not having a shock mount I'd probably pass. The sing direction capsule seems preferable for a streaming mic though. The Samson would be good as a podcast mic if you need more than one person to be heard.

BTW Joe the Simorr on my tablet had a bit more high end in the equalization curve, sounded reallmgood, for $50 sound perfect for my needs.
Hi Joe
I like everything you have been showing on your channel hopefully camera things will pickup soon.
Thanks so much Michael. Likewise I hope so also!!!

I totally agree! Today's video is exact 10 mins. I really have to leave a lot on the floor to make it 10 mins for sure! ;) Thanks again.

Omg. Thanks so much. I’ll read some for Christmas like I did for Halloween. 😉
I just ordered an Oktava MK-012 Hypercardoid mic. I heard good things about it.
Sweet!!!

Thanks, I'm having to do some video tutorial outlines in the future and need an inexpensive microphone, just in time.
👍🏻👍🏻
On my monitor speakers, I definitely prefer the Samsung for your voice . The other mic has a slight notch in the
midrange
Thanks for adding your thoughts. Appreciate it. BTW the Samson is $150 compared to $50 for the Wave U1.

Can agree more. The bi-direction omni pickup of the Samson is perfect for a two person across the table podcast all in one mic instead of two.
