The problem with that notion is that it's predicated on the supposition that Gazans, and all the other Palestinians are peaceful people. That is unfortunately far from reality, as you may have seen Gazan civilians celebrating and marring hostages. There is a channel here on RUclips about a guy who goes around asking Palestinians on the street random questions, Corey Gil-Shuster, and although it's not a comprehensive metric, it's a pretty good one. The problem is the ideology prevalent in the region that encourages radicalism, violence and then terrorism.

As a human being, it breaks my heart hearing about the atrocities commited by Hamas. I watched this when I was tired but went off to sleep...I woke up and went back to it rewinding to where I left. This video is the most well explained I have ever seen. It is worth sharing. My heart aches for the Gazans and Palestinians. I know there are many good Palestinians and I pray one day they will be free. I almost cried when that kid said he wished to see what Israel was like beyond the wall and to taste Israeli ice-cream. These kids deserve to have their education, to travel, to play sports and grow up to be stars and great leaders. I hope this war will end and Hamas is defeated.

I have been living in Israel for 22 years and I am a repatriate from Ukraine. I am an atheist and a humanist. I am a nurse, working in a hospital where many of the medical staff are Arabs, half of our patients are also Arabs. We live and work in peace and harmony, and we have no prejudices against each other! There is enough space in Israel for all people who want to live, work, study and raise their children normally! I live in Israel 🇮🇱 I am 34 years old and I was 3 during the gulf war, I grew up during the second intifada, I’ve made many friends with Palestinian people. The miss trust makes it very hard, but all Israelis know that the Palestinians are being exploited and used for Muslim radicals. And that they really have it much more worse than we do even though we are always under attack. The Palestinian live in constant fear, and many are brainwashed that the horrible conditions they live in, is because of Israel. No! It’s the Palestinian Authority, and definitely Hamas! We in Israel all know we must liberate Gaza from Hamas, not only for our safety, but for the Gazan Palestinians, who deserve freedom and peace. deserve to live in a world where they aren’t in constant fear. This is what I hope for both our nations and many here in Israel feel the same way, but also many Israelis are angry, not understanding the danger. The Palestinian people put themselves in when they speak up against their governments, I was at a peace rally once, and this Palestinian guy told us a story where earlier that day he was throwing rocks at soldiers, and then later the evening coming to the peace rally explaining that he had to go throw rocks, because if he wasn’t there, he would’ve been on the great suspicion. Impossibly attacked within his own home or his own community, or even put his family at risk. You see this is the nature of terror and this is why we have to remove terror not only in Gaza, but worldwide the world needs to wake up to the real world and not to their imaginary bubbles that they have been living in. this is life and death at his rawest form. I believe that when the war is over, we will have a chance to build a better stronger foundation for future generations to come and I don’t mean only for Jews or for Christians or for Muslims I mean for us all.

I must say my own attitude toward Gazan civilians was somewhat negative after seeing some civilians spit on a dead Israeli woman and cheering Hamas terrorists on as they returned from their savage attack but this video brings me back from that rather emotional stance and reminds me that it’s never good to generalise and that Gazan civilians are just as worthy of a decent life as anyone else on the planet. There's different narratives, and this is partly soft propaganda. For example this portrays Israel state positively and they want good things for the people of gaza. But there also heaping suffering on the people of gaza by severally limiting aid. Those two don't match.

Loving this. I've been in a very dark place since Oct 7th. I've never felt so sadm I moved to Israel back in 2011 building my future here. Everything feels fragile and uncertain but this gave me a glimpse of hope because i see people on the other side wanting peace and coexistence.

My heart aches for the Gazans and Palestinians. I know there are many good Palestinians and I pray one day they will be free. I almost cried when that kid said he wished to see what Israel was like beyond the wall and to taste Israeli ice-cream. These kids deserve to have their education, to travel, to play sports and grow up to be stars and great leaders. I hope this war will end and Hamas is defeated.

I live in Israel 🇮🇱 I am 34 years old and I was 3 during the gulf war, I grew up during the second intifada, I’ve made many friends with Palestinian people. The miss trust makes it very hard, but all Israelis know that the Palestinians are being exploited and used for Muslim radicals. And that they really have it much more worse than we do even though we are always under attack. The Palestinian live in constant fear, and many are brainwashed that the horrible conditions they live in, is because of Israel. No! It’s the Palestinian Authority, and definitely Hamas! We in Israel all know we must liberate Gaza from Hamas, not only for our safety, but for the Gazan Palestinians, who deserve freedom and peace. deserve to live in a world where they aren’t in constant fear. This is what I hope for both our nations and many here in Israel feel the same way, but also many Israelis are angry, not understanding the danger. The Palestinian people put themselves in when they speak up against their governments, I was at a peace rally once, and this Palestinian guy told us a story where earlier that day he was throwing rocks at soldiers, and then later the evening coming to the peace rally explaining that he had to go throw rocks, because if he wasn’t there, he would’ve been on the great suspicion. Impossibly attacked within his own home or his own community, or even put his family at risk. You see this is the nature of terror and this is why we have to remove terror not only in Gaza, but worldwide the world needs to wake up to the real world and not to their imaginary bubbles that they have been living in. this is life and death at his rawest form. I believe that when the war is over, we will have a chance to build a better stronger foundation for future generations to come and I don’t mean only for Jews or for Christians or for Muslims I mean for us all.

This video gave me strength and hope that we are fighting the correct war, even if many naive people around the world are unable to understand it yet, because their education, life experience and curiosity has been limited. I pray that we will be able to give Gazans the life they deserve and that they will serve example to the rest of the world of what can be achieved by taking down religious extremists from controlling a people, which is still happening in so many other countries. I hope that we will one day live by each other in the same way the previous generations did, and in the same way we live side by side with some of the arab israelis. It's ridiculous that in Israel we are "far left" for wishing prosperity and freedom to roam, love and pray upon everyone, while in the rest of the world we are considered "far right" for not letting Hamas destroy their own people in the name of Jihad.

We all want peace for ourselves and for future generations, and then there are those who don’t and can’t live coexisting. I intentionally didn’t mention religion here because I believe there are righteous good people in every single religion, including Islam but unfortunately, they are a minority, at least for now hopefully, as we build a better future, this can change. Loving this. I've been in a very dark place since Oct 7th. I've never felt so sadm I moved to Israel back in 2011 building my future here. Everything feels fragile and uncertain but this gave me a glimpse of hope because i see people on the other side wanting peace and coexistence.
