Fajna mała konstrukcja, ale bardziej do gammy niż rozpadów beta ;) zakres pomiarowy do 1000 uSv/h przy j614 to też dziwny pomysł, ten GM spokojnie wyrabia do 10mSv/h. Bateria też by mogła trzymać dłużej
I really don't understand Fnirsi policy... Designed a new model only to be a lot worse, than the older version. I am lucky to have previous model with big tube.
Thanks for the review! Seems like a device to avoid. I think I'm done with Chinese geigers unless something really exciting shows up. They all have either bad performance or very odd quircks. Sure some of them can load alternative firmware and for that alone they might be worth trying. But if you don't wan to mess with that and just want a decent beginner geiger counter I'll suggest one of GQ's, GMC-300(S) / 320(S) or the new GMC-800. The funny thing is that with a discount on Amazon they're not that far from the price of many chinese geigers. Sure you can get chinese geigers for like 1/3 (XR-1 and BR9) of the mentioned low end GMC range but unless you're on a really tight budget. They're sort of OK but nothing more than that. Stay clear of the the ViBao C101 which maxes out at 6,45 µS/h. Funny thing is that when I'm hunting antiques - yes it's typically the ViBao I bring along. While it is crap it does however work well upon deciding whether to buy an object or not and it clicks so even though readings maxes out I can hear how spicy an object is. It has J321 tube so reasonably sensitive. And just as important - I won't be sorry if accidentally trashing it.

Dzieki za test. Brakuje mi w nim porownania do innego detektora, ktory bylby odniesieniem do tego co pokazujesz. Widac, ze slabo ten sprzet sie spisuje ale nie wiem jako laik jak bardzo jest to kiepski odczyt. Pojawienie sie w kadrze obok sprzetu ktory uwazasz za wiarygodny pokazal by skale przeklaman.
Zwykle używam podobnych przedmiotów jako testerów dozymetrów, więc możesz zobaczyć sobie moje recenzje na przykład GR-100, FS-5000 czy choćby NC-03. GC-02 mierzy prawie wyłącznie gammę, więc rejestruje tylko silniejsze promieniowanie. Do tego w górnym zakresie też miewa problemy. Według mnie to downgrade w stosunku do poprzedniego modelu tej firmy jeśli chodzi o czułość.

GC-01 on glass tube like J321 detects beta and gamma. GC-02 gamma and strongest beta.
