I am impressed with your pronunciation of all these ingredients!!! You sound like a pro- and you definitely have done enough research to be one!! Thank you for this video. SOOO HELPFUL! 😁
You're the first person I've heard talking about EDTA and difference between SLS and SLES, so thank you for that! Were I live in Poland we have mostly hard water, so I'm gonna look for EDTA in my clarifying shampoos from now on. Very helpful video, thanks a bunch again
Please don't. EDTA is not good for the environment and can also cause a lot of problems in combination with other chemicals as it is highly reactive. A simple vinegar rinse is much better and as effective.
I agree with using an apple cider vinegar rinse. But you could also look on Amazon, or in a local plumbing store, for water filters that go just behind the shower head and the inner filter is change out about every three months. It's made a huge difference in my hair and for my skin! Just type in "shower filter" in the search bar and it'll bring up a whole range of options. Best of luck to you!
Gosh there is so much to know about ingredients. I just got a box from Curl Kit in the mail and immediately wanted to know what is in the products. I decided to get out a marker and mark write on the bottle if there is something I want to remember, especially as I try to familiarize myself. I wrote "silicone" (bad kind) and "protein" on bottles for easy identification of things I want to be aware of. Thanks for helping me feel like understanding ingredients is POSSIBLE.
THANK YOU!! This is so helpful! I am a fellow wavy new to Curly Girl Method and have been watching all your videos and they have ALL been so helpful but this is by far the most helpful! I am guilty of never looking at an ingredients list in my life before starting CG last month, so this is such a great guide to helping me understand what I am looking at!
I am so excited for you to start cosmetology school! I definitely see a future for you in beauty education. Thank you for your videos and sharing this info. I also appreciate how you put the words on the screen. I am the kind of person that watches TV with closed-captioning because that is how my brain works. You are awesome!
Holy cow! That's a lot of information. Not going to lie, this amount of info is totally overwhelming, but thank you for putting this together. This will be great to refer back to as I make my way on my curly hair journey!
Oh my gosh I can’t explain how grateful I am for your videos. You are so humble and informational!! All these youtubers with millions of subscribers don’t even compare to you. You have helped me so much and you genuinely care for your viewers. This is the content I subscribed for!! Never stop this kind of content 💕
Fran, you're definitely going to make me cry this morning. I'm just so thrilled to have curl friends like you. Thank you for your kind words, and I'm SO happy to hear how this helped you.
You give such great simple advice I have been watching videos on my hair for a long time and you have given me information that has actually helped in a way that I can understand thank you for what you're doing.
After reading up on some of this I digged deeper into the silicone valley (hahaha puns) and realised one of my favourite blow drying creams that I had tossed aside actually contains an evaporating silicone and one that only attaches to damaged areas. So I might put it back into rotation for every once in a while. Again thanks a lot.
I was just trying to decipher ingredients and was searching youtube for help. This video is perfect timing and exactly what I needed. Your videos have been such a great resource for me and have taught me to love my curly hair. I live in Fort Worth and will DEFINITELY come see you when you get your license. Please keep us updated on your journey.
Sending you GOOOD VIIIIIIBES 😋 I'm super grateful that you share your knowledge and wisdom. In kinda new to CG and I am getting a little confused with how certain "holy grail" products for other people just do not work at all for my hair. My conclusion is I need more knowledge, and you have plenty of that! Good luck when you start school. You'll be great!
You’ve seriously changed my life with your channel. I have naturally 3a/2b curls but I’ve gotten Brazilian blowouts for years now because I’ve hated my curls but I’m finally ready to embrace them. The journey is gonna suck (Im dealing with the ugliest transition right now lmao) but you really put things in terms that I understand and can follow. Thank you!! Sending love💖
Rita! I'm so excited for you. The first couple weeks and maybe even months can be tough. But you can do it! Thank you for your kind words. So much luck and love to you in your new journey!
That was an awesome video ! Thank you so very much for all the links you provided and your personnal explanations. This video is going to be in a playlist of mine to have it on hand and have a refresh course every time I'm on the hunt for a product. I noticed some products labelled as shampoo for example but as you said, the ingredients are 1 surfactant and a bunch of oil. Just begining my curly girl journey, I don't have the condidence yet to tell that label to be my cowash instead of a no poo ! I'm gonna get there !
Impressive!!! You have become such a great curly hair guru!!! I don’t even share curly type, porosity or texture with you and I still almost always find your videos interesting! Thank you! This one was my fav by far! Can’t wait for more
Informative and interesting as always. Congrats on starting cosmetology school! I can’t wait to see how your knowledge and recommendations evolve as you work with diverse hair types.
Good vibes mama!!!! Congrats on cosmetology school!!! So cool when a passion leads to a new chapter in life. And thanks for bringing the raunch with the size comment. A little raunch never hurt anybody. So funny. 💜
That is good to know about the edta in the suave clarifying! Another ingredients that has been under fire. That explains why I keep coming back to it, other stuff just doesn't work the same and we have hard water. I tried to get away from it because of the itchy m's but I seem to get away with it, I would never use it 2 wash days in a row. I actually like the ion hard water one also that you can get from Sally's but I use that for really stubborn build up because it's so HARSH. It's so exciting to start these new adventures. I am finishing my teaching degree right now and completely turned my life upside down by getting a new part time job too!
This was SO helpful to me because you listed the names of products, and links of blogs you talked about. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ And you are going to kill it at Beauty school! Congrats!
Great explanations, you are a researcher just like me lol, so I appreciate the thoroughness of your fact finding efforts and the clear concise way you explain everything. Congrats on cosmetology school. Guaranteed though, the industry will drive you nuts with marketing speak and unproven claims. Good luck with everything.
Thank you for this video, super informative and helpful! Definitely will watch it many times haha. And congrats on the cosmetology school, you’ll do great! One more thing, don’t stop doing videos, we get so excited when you upload. ❤️
Congratulations and the best of luck as you start school! I love your videos. They are so informative and I really appreciate them. You have helped me embrace the CG method and find the products that work best for my hair.
This was super informative and really well-presented! Thank you for your hard work and research. The amount of products out there gets really overwhelming, but understanding some of the key ingredients really helps separate the true function from the sometimes misleading marketing language
the part where you spoke of PVP/ VA-VP copolymers was super helpful as now i feel so empowered to choose a good hard hold gel for my type 2b & 3a mixed hair. Thank You!!!
Thank you for this! It’s the video explanation I’ve been wanting for so long. Good luck with your career change. You’re going to be a rockstar beauty pro!
Love your channel! As someone who is currently in hair school I have to say you're very knowledge, its amazing to see someone spilling correct knowledge out to the world! (Thank you!!) & as someone who's started embracing my natural wave I wanted to thank you for your 10 curly/wavy commandments video! I'm wondering if you've heard of the brand AVEDA, or if you'd ever consider doing a review on their curly products. They're 98% organically derived and contain hydrolyzed wheat protein, quinoa protein, ect. Very interested on your opinion on their products!
Yay!!! Congrats!! Might be a dumb question, but are you going to focus on hair or skin? Your future clients will be lucky to have you, because I know that you’ll take the time to educate! Another great video and awesome info that’s easy to understand.
I love this questions as Ive been reminded recently your scalp is just skin. If your scalp is not healthy and clean then your hair will look feel nice either no mater what you put on it.
Great video! Congrats on going to cosmetology school!! You’re going to be amazing. I’m hoping you’ll continue to be a fabulous resource for wavies and curlies.
I've tried using the anti-frizz spray your way, but I always get angry frizzy hair! BUT, now I've started smoothing two sprays each over smaller sections, and I have amazing day 2 hair! No water, no diffuser required!
This video is everything. I have decided to start the CG method this week for the first time ever and your videos have really inspired me....I’ve watched every one. My hair is more wavy than it is curly as well as v frizzy (plus I live in South Florida) and it’s so hard to find information that I find applicable to my particular hair situation. I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thank you!
I watched this video when it came out and just yesterday I tried the clarifying shampoo and I am having the most volume today with great curls!! Definitely good info you shared will add this in my routine at least once a month .
Thank you for your information. And I want to say congratulations on pronouncing all those ingredient names!! I am travelling to the US soon and I'm adding some of those products to my shopping list.
Thanks for this video! I am only about a week into my CG journey and it is overwhelming! Your videos are definitely helping me to navigate it. I'm struggling with frizz right now. I don't know if I'm not using enough product or if I'm using too much. I tried clarifying and deep conditioning.. I got the best no-frizz with a tresemme gel I had but after watching this I realize it has silicones. Should I clarify again and try over with another product? I've got the devacurl light defining gel, but I'm thinking I didn't use enough of it maybe. I've tried several products but never seem to get a gel cast. Have you tried the Lus Love Your Curls products? I was seeing their ads all over facebook so I ordered it, but I'm still so new with application and diffusing that it is hard to tell which variables are having the most affect on my end result. Thanks again for your videos!
I do have a question for you if you have the time...have you ever used DIY flaxseed gel (with added preservatives and kept in the fridge of course)? I really like how light it is on my hair. Just wanted your opinion/advice about it if I was to continue using it 🙂. Love your videos. Great to see how smart and knowledgable you are about the techniques and science behind it all!
Have you ever tried or looked into the Neutogena Shampoo Anti-Residue Formula? I've used that weekly for years, and I'm wondering if I should still use it, maybe less often like you do? Thanks!
Thanks for the video! I had to double check what you said about sodium laureth sulfate. I went to the link you added for mestiza muse, and on her list of "harsh" ingredients, sodium laureth AND sodium lauryl sulfate are listed as harsh. Should I avoid both ingredients?
Have you ever heard of or tried Plaine Products? If so, what do you think of them? I’m new to CG and have been using the rosemary and mint shampoo. Would you classify that as a ‘no-poo’ or ‘lo-poo’ or neither? Thanks! Really enjoy your helpful videos!!
Thank you thank you so much for making this video and doing the research! I've been feeling incredibly overwhelmed by my hair lately. I can't seem to fight the frizz or get good curl definition.
Just get through it. It sometimes happens no matter what you do (often happens to me during season changes), so just know it won't last forever. Clarifying is where I often start troubleshooting.
I would LOVE to get a DevaCut from you! I’ve had 2 in the past and they were not worth it. I left and my hair looked worse. But I have learned so much from you and you are such a nice person. Would love to meet you!
I love you videos and I would love to hear what you have to say about ingredients that are ment to do one thing but for some people have the opposite effect. Example: glycerin is ment to attract moisture and help with frizz but for me I can't have it anywhere on the ingredients list of a product or I'm a total frizz ball. I know it took almost a year and moments away from giving up and going back to straighten my hair before I found that even though everyone in my curly groups were getting amazing results because they use glycerin, I myself had to 100% avoid it. For a newbie these types of outliers can be a big deal / a make or break in their journey.
I wish I knew all those ins and outs. Hair is complicated, unfortunately, which is why shampoos and conditioners have been formulated the way they have been (with sulfates and silicones) for so long. My only guess would be that your hair is higher porosity and is thus more reactive to fluctuations in humidity. Glycerin would only exacerbate that.
Yes, I have mostly high porosity hair (i say mostly because I do have a mix). I watch the dew points and humidity closely. I just never really hear anyone talk about the fact that for some people the normal tips/ tricks. rules of thumb are different.
How do you know your hair needs protein. After 2-3 weeks my hair gets stringing, looses curl. I do have hard water...do i need protein or clarify. After 3 months still finding bumps in the road i need to get around. Thank you for all you do, you are great.
3 months is nothing; you'll be learning for a long time, but it gets easier! It's impossible for me to know what your hair specifically needs, but you won't know until you try. At the 2-3 week mark might be a good time for you to try clarifying and doing a conditioning protein treatment (deva deep sea repair, curl junkie repair me). Make sure you're keeping notes!
I love your videos with all your tips and tricks. You really know a lot about all of this.I'm 2months into my journey and I'm still trying to figure out refresh days.I must have tried every method from leave-ins only or with water, refresh sprays, steam, creams and gels, but I always get dry, frizzy hair from all of them. What do I do wrong? What else can I do?Do you have any suggestions? Thanks and good luck with your training.
Refreshing takes time for your hair to get used to/accept. Just be sure to incorporate water or a water-based styler of some sort. Your hair sounds thirsty!
I almost quit cg when my scalp broke out, itching, flaking, and scabbing over. It wasn't till I checked the ingredients of my no-poo and realized it contained "wheat protein", aka gluten! I have celiac disease. I don't know why I didn't think to check the product before buying it. I didn't realize it was someplace I needed to be concerned with gluten content. Anyway, I changed products. After a few weeks, my scalp healed and all has been good.
Great to see you. You are my favourite and I always make time for your videos. A great and informative one - thank you. Best of luck on your course. Any chance of doing your latest holy grail products soonish? Love from London x
This was a great video and very helpful! And how exciting that you're starting a new career journey! One request--the volume on your videos is often really soft. Even when I have the volume cranked up all the way, I sometimes have a hard time hearing. Do you use an external mic? It might help. Thanks again for your amazing videos!
Very impressed with your knowledge of all these crazy, hard to pronounce ingredients. Thank you for sharing your experiences and educating us in this curly journey. I am ready to sign up to do a course to learn more how to care for my hair, I’m debating between the map method and Atoya’s. I have 2b 3a hair, what is your recommendation? I don’t want to make a decision based on economics, I value your opinion. BTW love your hair, been following you for a while and love how it has really improved.
Atoya's is half off right now, and it's more basic. CHA's is an ongoing series of videos, and I believe their focus is on how to hydrate the hair. I've done neither of them, but am so glad resources like them exist!
Thank you so much for your input, I signed up for the Map method, very excited to learn more about taking care of my curls. BTW I read someplace that there is a game going on, every time you mention AIA co wash we are to drink a glass of wine. LOL!! 🍷🍷🍷😳
I love your videos! ❤️ I’ve been doing the CG method for a month now and it has been a journey! I’ve watched almost all of your videos, but haven’t seen anything on apple cider vinagre rinse. I am a 2b and have tried it once and it gave my hair some shine. Wanted to know if you’ve experimented with that and how often it’s safe to do. Thank you!
Yes, it's wonderful for temporarily closing your cuticle (its pH is usually 2-3, whereas our hair is 4.5) and adding shine, but it's really not for clarifying. Also, I'm truly not a DIY person.
Hi, I'm new to the curly girl method and looking for a styling product. I'm not quite sure wether to use a cream or a gel and wether O can use any type of gel even if it's not especially made for curly hair. Because I live in Germany, my abilities to reach out for curly hair products are very limited. Can you give me some advise how to choose products?
In the past when you styled with the “Dippity Doo Girls With Curls Defining Cream”, what did you pair it with when styling? Also, have you used it by itself? Oh! Also, when you have used “Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic”, what do you pair it with? Have you also used it alone?
Thanks for your videos, you are the perfect blend of personality and facts. I'm wondering if you know of a clarifying shampoo that doesn't contain sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate. I'm allergic to both :(
Thank you SO much! You're too kind. How about sulfonates? If that's ok for you, MopTop detox shampoo, Trader Joe's Spa Nourish shampoo, or Kinky Curly Come Clean might be good choices.
I avoid EDTA for ecological concerns. It takes long to decompose and water treatment plants will not get it out completely, so it's accumulating in water bodies and increase heavy metals bioavailability. Research has also shown that it can help to "shuttle" other chemicals through the skin barrier.
What would you recommend as the best alternative to wheat? I’m having a heck of a time finding products that are both wheat/gluten free and coconut oil free. So far, only the Paul Mitchell curl envy, deva wavemaker, and plain aloe gel work for styling aides. Cleansing is limited to superleaves or Burt’s bees, as I can’t find suave products (or Aussie freeze gel) anywhere here!
Oh cool, I just read where you're at. I'm just south of you. My sweet little stylist has been doing my hair for about 14 years and we're learning the CGM together. I lent her one of my copies of L. Massey's book and she's totally cool with learning how to work on/with curly girls. You'll be getting your license just about the time we move to Arkansas! Isn't that just about right?!? Although I'll probably come back once a year so she can trim my hair as I'm too old to train a new stylist like I like 'em! LOL! Unless I can talk her into setting up a mobile beauty station like that lady I saw with the bus conversion, then she can come visit me!! ROFL!!!
That depends on SO many things. For some, it's a couple weeks, for others (like me), it's 6 months or longer. I encourage everyone to give the method a real, solid, consistent try for 1 year before deciding to throw in the towel.
Well I'm not early but I'm not that late love you so much thank you for posting you really helped me in my journey to making my hair healthier and grow back wave you're so thank you so much you're a real inspiration 😍😍😍😍
Perfect timing on your video!! I have wavy hair and shampoo every other day. I have three mass-market brands that I thought were gentle. They have about 3 cleansing ingredients listed. I also just discovered the curlsbot.com ingredient analyzer and in analyzing my shampoos they all contain Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate which curlsbot consider a 'clarifying cleanser' and rate as Curly Girl questionable. Any opinions?? Should I find a new shampoo- I am hesitant to cowash because I get buildup very easily and am prone to a very itchy scalp. Congrats on beauty school!!
I like to wash my hair every couple of days as well. I could never cowash, I don't feel it is something I would be comfortable with, especially with fine, wavy hair. I have, however, used the info with curly girl type products to pick a shampoo that doesn't strip as much, and conditioners and stylers that don't build up as much. I feel like I have moved away from the very swingy cycle of over stripping/over coating my hair. Because of this my hair feels cleaner for longer, my roots feel clean and soft, instead of greasy. In a wash day I simply shampoo, condition, comb out and apply one styler. Air dry and tousle. I don't use any products to refresh my hair in between shampoos and I simply enjoy my hair in the natural state it wants to be in. Not at all how most curly girls are doing it lol.
Shea moisture shampoos and conditioners are curl girl method approved, if you go to a big Wal-Mart you'd probably be able to find a travel size to try out to see if you like it
Thanks. I had tried the SM coconut and hibiscus but it made my hair feel like straw- but that was before I figured out my hair hates protein. I should do some research and see which SM shampoos are protein free.
I do not think curlsbot is correct on this. Clarifying shampoos contain c14-16 olefin sulfonate. A shampoo containing the ingredient you mentioned is still considered a low poo.
And then I discovered that my new favorite hard hold gel (that I have been using for a month, and has polyQ-69 as the second ingredient 😍😍) has alcohol denat as the 5th ingtedient😳. Oops. Lesson learned: read ALL of the ingredients, not just the ones you want to see. 😬
I am impressed with your pronunciation of all these ingredients!!! You sound like a pro- and you definitely have done enough research to be one!! Thank you for this video. SOOO HELPFUL! 😁

Yes ma'am! I plan to specialize. ;)
I’m always so happy when you upload.

Best CG video so far! Great value content

Aww thank you! And don't I know it. But I'm just here to spread the love, so I'm going to try to overlook it!
I'm so glad! And thank you!
I always wanted to go to cosmetology school. The kids came, now the grandkids;)...so I will live vicariously through you! Congrats!
Lucky you! So many babies to love on. :)
this is so helpful, thank you x
Such a great video! Love that you put together everything to know about ingredients important for curlies
This was super informative and really well-presented! Thank you for your hard work and research. The amount of products out there gets really overwhelming, but understanding some of the key ingredients really helps separate the true function from the sometimes misleading marketing language
You're so welcome! I'm glad this hit the mark for you.
Congratulations on your next chapter!! very excited for you!!
Thank you!!
the part where you spoke of PVP/ VA-VP copolymers was super helpful as now i feel so empowered to choose a good hard hold gel for my type 2b & 3a mixed hair. Thank You!!!
I love all of your videos on ingredients! Trying to learn ingredients has been the most frustrating part of CG.
I keep coming back to watch this video! So much great information! ❤️
So glad it's been helpful to you, and continues to be!
Awesome work with this detailed overview! The structure was totally manageable and linear ;) Congrats on the new adventure!
It was SO HARD! LOL!! Thank you!
Wow! So much information! Thanks so much for this. You've really helped me understand! You are my hair hero!
Thank you for this! It’s the video explanation I’ve been wanting for so long. Good luck with your career change. You’re going to be a rockstar beauty pro!

Another great video and awesome info that’s easy to understand.
Not dumb at all. My plan is to focus on hair, but I'm open to finding what I 'fall in love with', as they say.
I love this questions as Ive been reminded recently your scalp is just skin. If your scalp is not healthy and clean then your hair will look feel nice either no mater what you put on it.
bless you for remembering all that & sharing! .. yah i'm not that into DIYks because of the lack of preservatives, which makes it go bad quickly.
I’m loving your vids and honest delivery. Winner!!
TY!
Wow! You are the Queen of pronunciation!!! Fabulous video!!❤️💕
Great video! Congrats on going to cosmetology school!! You’re going to be amazing. I’m hoping you’ll continue to be a fabulous resource for wavies and curlies.
Thank you! I'll do my best, but my role will definitely be evolving... ;)
Thank you!
OMGOSH, I'm so flattered! Blessed to be able to help you!
Great video....thank you for sharing your knowledge !
AWESOME VIDEO!!! I don’t save many, but this one is a keeper and I’m going to watch it again so I can take notes.
I watched this video when it came out and just yesterday I tried the clarifying shampoo and I am having the most volume today with great curls!! Definitely good info you shared will add this in my routine at least once a month .
Awesome!
Thank you for your information. And I want to say congratulations on pronouncing all those ingredient names!! I am travelling to the US soon and I'm adding some of those products to my shopping list.
Thank you! And I hope you enjoy your trip!
Good luck on your cosmetology journey and congratulations!! I wish I had the time, that’s a dream of mine. You will ROCK!!!
Thank you!!!!! I hope you get to fulfill your dream someday!
very informative!!how well you pronounced these ingredients!i'm impressed!you're the teacher I was the student! ;D
Another amazing and informative video Alyson. Thank you! And good luck in cosmetology school. I know you will do fantastic💖💖
Thank you!
Oh my gosh! So exciting you going to cosmetology school. That is so awesome 😄. You're going to be amazing at it!
Thank you!!!
Thanks...i just keep plugging along. You’re the best
Have been looking for this one for a while, thank you so much!
Have you ever tried or looked into the Neutogena Shampoo Anti-Residue Formula? I've used that weekly for years, and I'm wondering if I should still use it, maybe less often like you do? Thanks!
So helpful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Thanks for the video! I had to double check what you said about sodium laureth sulfate. I went to the link you added for mestiza muse, and on her list of "harsh" ingredients, sodium laureth AND sodium lauryl sulfate are listed as harsh. Should I avoid both ingredients?
You are wonderful, thank you so much for this video!
AHH! This video is literally perfect! I loved watching it, thanks for so much great info :›
yay for new content! fabulous info as always!!
Great video! So informative. Congrats on your new career path! 😊
"So raunchy lol" omg you cracked me up, I had to rewind to watch again lol
This is gold! Thank you for this💕
Wow...fantastic video. Super impressed with your research, knowledge and pronunciation. I feel smarter. Lol. Thank you!
I've been using my As I am leave in when I am refreshing 2nd and 3rd day hair along with a Herbal Essences mousse I bought last week.
So so fabulous!! Well done! 3rd time's a charm!! :)
Thanks honeyyyyyyy! LOL
I would LOVE to get a DevaCut from you! I’ve had 2 in the past and they were not worth it. I left and my hair looked worse. But I have learned so much from you and you are such a nice person. Would love to meet you!
Oh, please come see me when I'm working! Would love to meet you as well!
Yes, it's coming soon!
Such a GREAT video!!
This was a great video and very helpful! And how exciting that you're starting a new career journey! One request--the volume on your videos is often really soft. Even when I have the volume cranked up all the way, I sometimes have a hard time hearing. Do you use an external mic? It might help. Thanks again for your amazing videos!
Oh, I'm so sorry about that! I think my latest one is pretty quiet, too. I'll see what I can do the next time. Thx for letting me know.
This was fun to watch and interesting
LOL!! 🍷🍷🍷😳
I love all you videos!
I know this is an older post but Gooseprints is no longer available. What was the other hair analysis site??🙂
My Mane Bio 👌
@@alysonlupo Thanks!!
Wooohoooo! Congratulations!!
I used the cream under my LA Looks blue gel. UFD I used only to smasters with. I did use it once on its own, but didn't like it on my super-wet hair.
Well, that sucks! Hmmmmm I wonder what could replace that as a chelating ingredient.....
Jessicurl might be a great line for you, as most of their products are protein free, and many are coconut free.
real life+curly girl thank you! A couple products sound good for my fine 2a/b/c and scalp, so I’ll definitely check them out!
Great video!!! good luck you will be fantastic at it!!!!!
Thank you!
ROFL!!!
I just love ir hair😍😍😍
How long after you start the curly girl method will the frizzy damage curls turn to smooth bouncy healthy curls?
That depends on SO many things. For some, it's a couple weeks, for others (like me), it's 6 months or longer. I encourage everyone to give the method a real, solid, consistent try for 1 year before deciding to throw in the towel.
Well I'm not early but I'm not that late love you so much thank you for posting you really helped me in my journey to making my hair healthier and grow back wave you're so thank you so much you're a real inspiration 😍😍😍😍
Awwww glad you're here! Thank you for the love!
Shea moisture shampoos and conditioners are curl girl method approved, if you go to a big Wal-Mart you'd probably be able to find a travel size to try out to see if you like it
@@taraized Lucky! We don't have Shea travel sizes in Canada. Not even at Sally's, I think.
I may or may not have ran to grab all of my products before I watched this.
That makes my day!
Thank you for this excellent video. Does Jessicurl spiralicious have anything in it that provides hold?
I get great hold from it. Guessing it's the hydroxyethylcellulose, or combination of a few ingredients.
@@alysonlupo Thank you for your reply! I love Spiralicious so I was just curious! :)
