Happy Thursday!!! I love to see how you organize your routines. I tend to spread my weekly home blessing over several days. For some reason, I do my laundry at night, and it’s usually put away before bedtime. Last night was an exception, as we had dinner guests, so I got behind. However, it was put away before breakfast this morning, by that I mean my breakfast. Jetta, our kitty, gets fed 1st! 😂 Have a wonderful week!❤❤❤
It fills my heart with happiness to hear of you and your female partner at the beginning of the video. I love lesbians, lesbian culture, and lesbian visibility. We need to be visible. Thank you. Second, thank you for sharing your routine with us. It's nice to see what others include in their routine. It seems like you have peaceful mornings as a result. Thank you for sharing! Now on to watch the rest of your video. I love the blue bowls you put the granola in. So gorgeous. Here's my routine. Years ago, I asked myself how long I was willing to spend cleaning my home daily. The answer came back, "15 minutes." LOL. So I figured, if I do a different area of my 1 bedroom apartment for 15 min./day, consistently, I'd probably get to all the details in each area over time. I also use the methods in the book, Speed Cleaning, which is the product of a professional cleaner's motion-efficiency strategy for cleaning the whole home. It cuts cleaning time by at least 50 - 75%. I highly recommend that book. So here's my weekly cleaning routine, using the Speed Cleaning method for each of these: M - spritz and wipe kitchen* T - spritz and wipe bath W - mop kitchen and bath Th - dust living room F - dust bedroom Sat - vacuum living room and bedroom Sun - patio Th - 2 hours for weekly laundry F - weekly grocery shopping and all errands** Sat - make one dinner for Sat., Mon., Weds.*** Sun - make another dinner for Sun., Tues., Thurs. * top to bottom, working left to right, all the way around the room for a thorough cleaning ** doing all errands on Fridays sets me up with cash, gas, & groceries, etc., for the weekend and following work week *** I make one full menu on Sat. to reheat on Mon. and Weds. I make a second full menu on Sun. to reheat on Tues. and Weds. This gives me a little variety during the week, by alternating between the two menus for a week, but allows me to only cook on Sat. and Sun., and just reheat and make a salad to accompany the meals during the week. Lazy and time-efficient ;) Each week, when making out my grocery list for grocery shopping on Friday, I pick out two recipes from my recipe card file to make for the week, to alternate between the two all week. I write the ingredients on my grocery list, and leave the recipe cards at home, otherwise I'll lose a treasured recipe card at the store. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for watching and for your very kind words. It's really appreciated. Visibility is a lot of the reason we do this. It's so important and we hope to help make people feel welcome, seen and heard 💜 Your routine sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing. It seems like you have it down to a fine art. I'll have to look up the book you recommended. I'm definitely a fan of efficiency and making chores last as little time as possible. Thank you for being here. It means the world 💜
@@curiouslifeYT Aw, well I'm looking forward to watching your other content! Now I need to add, my system broke down due to a hospitalization and some disabling conditions recently. So I've had caregivers in to help with the backlog, and they are doing an incredible amount of work, fantastically. I'm so grateful to them. I'm hoping after the backlog is all taken care of that I'll be able to return to my routine. Seeing it all getting picked up and clean again is motivating, as are videos such as yours. A fan from California. :)
Very helpful, thank you. Aside from hearing about it, I know nothing further about Fly Lady so much easier to see your cards and hear the explanation.
Thank you. I'm glad it was helpful :-)

Getting your laundry done before bed is so disciplined! If I haven't done something by just after dinner time then it's not getting done that day 😂 💜
@@curiouslifeYT 😂 Every evening, I FaceTime my parents as I watch a hockey or ball game, and I fold my clothes at the same time! I’m weird! 🤪
