Love your videos Steve. Could you use the longer umbrella as the shorter pole on an A-Frame tarp tent. Hiking pole at the other end. The umbrella kept open could add additional space and cover?
ad "this Pillow is sold out" and its alternatives ... TEMU is full of these pillows, exactly the same as you have. Even weight is the same - 150-160grams anyway .. a lot of useful tips in this video. Thank you for it (& subscribing)
Good list. I have both Versalite and Visp. The Visp fabric feels lighter, has higher MVTR (more breathable) and is cut more generously for better ventilation and layering. Versalite feels like possibly more durable fabric, but it is only 2L so wear a long-sleeved shirt under it to protect the membrane from your sweat. Overall, Visp is worth a bit more, IMHO.
Been looking for a new pillow since I had the pillow epiphany! I think the trekology is a great option, a little heavier than the Alpkit one I own but I think it worth it for sleep. No wonder its hard to find!
Then you put your jacket on and put some other gear under your pillow to get a usable height. When it comes to comfort warmth always beats pillow softness.
Neoprene socks don't keep your feet dry, they keep them warm in cold water. It's just a hydrocostume for your feet, they keep warm water inside themselves.

Love your channel! What do you think of the sea to summit poncho you have in a few of your videos? I’ve wondered about it as a rain option
nice
1:10 what if it’s really cold and you need to wear the jacket?
Then you put your jacket on and put some other gear under your pillow to get a usable height. When it comes to comfort warmth always beats pillow softness.
