Play Stargrave against your cat so we cant hear all the trash talk towards our favorite crafter.
Bill really outdid himself on this one. He didn't have to stop motion animate the whole battle but he did. So cool
You should also create a Cat tonk. Cat may have felt a little left out in this new endeavor. Really liked the video!

Wow, seeing a battle report by a gamer artist, rather than “just a gamer” is insane. Literal stop motion animation and hand-drawn smoke and explosions? This absolutely needs to be seen by more people.
Oh, and I also have to add, no, this isn’t what I want you to solely focus on. I celebrate the fact that you’ve been able to make such a wildly awesome channel without pigeonholing yourself into one specific niche. Variety is the spice of life, and your channel has variety. (Amongst other great things like great humor, awesome editing style, amazing artistic skill, etc.)

Great collaboration guys, really enjoyed this one! I can confirm Theo leaves a can of energy drink and a Unit 11 DVD everywhere he visits, which is great... because I really enjoyed the ... energy drink.

Definitely one of the best battle reports I've watched. The animation really brings it to life. It always sucks to watch a battle report where it's just a bunch of middle-aged nerds moving their toys around and talking about it with no visuals
Hi Bill. I really enjoyed this episode. The last couple months you and Crafsman have reignited something in my that has laid dormant since my golden era of 9-12 years old where I was at my most creative and interesting. I am finally remembering all the cool stuff I like doing and making. I made a Tonk out of sculpey and painted it even though I have never used sculpey before and it looks crap and the oven was too hot so it burned the polymer clay, but I still did it and I'm really proud of it. Now the challenge is convincing my missus to play with my little tonks with me. And also try this boardgame.

Theo's tonk was super cool! Your animated battle report was great, I hope to see some Stargrave or Gaslands from you too. Well, provided you can do it without always spending days on animation. I wonder how you managed to record the banter so well too. It felt natural even though it didn't sound like you were in the same room recording as you played.

I honestly didn't think I'd care about this episode when you announced it. I'm here for the crafts, but the animation really added a lot of interest. Makes me want to make and play tonks. Really great video. Your banter with Theo was good too

Yes! I was hoping you would included the full stop motion at the end! This was great! Simple game, easy to follow, minimal supplies needed and building your tonk completely up to you. I think it would be interesting to have more than two people play at once or be controlling multiple tonks on your team. With a big enough map, you could even add power ups or 1ups on the field.
Credit to the designer for a simple but interesting little game. I could actually follow what was going on the entire time.

That was my favorite episode of Bill Plays A Game and Reports on the Battle, Then Animates It that I've ever seen.
The world totally needs a «Bill Playing Stuff»-channel - or at least series, maybe a mini-series … that could have seasons, and specials with weird episode numbering that messes with everyones OCD and makes no sense -and it could be called … «The BATTLE REPORTAGE» … or maybe Journal, or stuff …
This is completely an aside, but when Theo speaks, I can't help but be reminded of Cuno from Disco Elysium.

the stop motion was amazing. I normally do not care to watch other people play games but this game is a cool simple one with very cool handmade tonks.

The table banter was fun, and the overhead view really helps understand the positioning. The stop motion and hand drawn fx are the real stars though, what a treat! Great work Bill!
