The ending to this still fucks me up after all these years. Just, the shot of kaede covering saiharas bullet wound then cutting to his soul crushed expression hurts so much. Or more accurate every shot is incredible. Just an actual fuckin masterpiece of a PV that hits the message and aesthetic of v3 on the nail. Or skull. It makes me really hate that the artist deleted their presence. Their work was really impressive. The blame doesn’t even really lie on the reposts that happened, that’s just a fact of the internet but wiping everything because of it while somewhat understandable is still dumb as hell.
I just noticed towards the end when all the survivors are bleeding and those closest to them are with them, everyone who isn't shown for the others is with kiibo and miu is closer than the rest.
It was thanks to this video that I got initially into Danganronpa. One of my happiest times, ironically. I got so confused and sad when I couldn't find it once I searched for it to rewatch it. That was so long ago I'm not even into the Danganronpa fandom anymore (even if I still hold it dear), due to that this was almost out of my memory already. Thanks for bringing the good old times back.

The last minute of the animation is so impactful! It really showed how far gone Shirogane was, and how the survivors-namely K1B0-mustered up the courage to also set her free from the cycle of DR’s killing games. The realization that she’s barely who she used to be, and that Rantaro died after having to repeat this hell in an attempt to end it, is so tragic. They all made the choice to use their lives to end the cycle, no clue if even death would await them after. They stood up to the despair of the unknown, and set themselves, Shirogane, and all of their departed peers free…
Kaede, Shuichi, and Rantaro were all trying to stop the mastermind at the beginning of the game, not long after Shuichi left alone This does hurt a little with the fact that both Rantaro and Kaedei had the chance to survive it Tsumugi di not interfere.
