This has the potential to be an excellent weaponlight for a rifle platform. Usable spill, maybe a little underwhelming (just a little) but an *excellent* hotspot for spotting and identifying targets up to 200+ meters away. Great potential for police, military, and maybe even night hunting if your locale allows that.
have used strobe with repeating effective results on a +1000 meter Acebeam L19 Tir Optics, minimal spill max candela on human and canine threats. Very effective as the heat you feel on your hands from the beam is what their eyes feel if they looked directly at it. Minimal spill and max throw distance is the key.
I bought one and was really impressed with its output. Unfortunately I experienced some issues. 1) it didn’t meet advertised candela and lumen ratings. Both actually recorded approximately 15% less than advertised at startup and even more when compared to ANSI/PLATO standards. 2) the light began experiencing problems after 24 hours. The light would flicker and then cycle between high and low then turned off. I thought it may have been the battery. I charged the battery and the light never came back on. Sent back for replacement. Unfortunately this light also stepped down prior to advertised time and was approximately 6% less than advertised step down lumen output.
I debated between the TAC or the straight T8 Plus. Since I wanted more lumen options and going through the modes is so quick with that rear button, I didn't get the TAC version.
I agree with you! You should be able to get to low without going to strobe! Kind of a weird way to set up a light... Other than this the specs of this light are off the hook!
Might have to be my next purchase to be honest. I was wondering when you'd review this one. The stats are incredible. This is their most intense LED TAC, right? I'm assuming strobe is full lumens. The strobe for self-defense tends to work better when the attacker is drugged up. haha, will make em feel dizzy pretty quick.
Hello sir! I have Nitecore MH12 Pro and i have Weltool T8 TAC on my wish list. How is your opinion between that two lights? Is T8 TAC much better than MH12 Pro? Thank you sir! 🙏🏻

Awesome review as always. Modularity between the heads/bodies is always a sign of Weltool 🤜🔦🤛
You got it my brother!

Did they replace it?
Killzone replaced it since it was within the first month of ownership (first day it failed).

There will definitely be a tactical reason why it is done this way. But for my application, I would want low first
I'm liking the THC system. The torch is alright too. 😅
Snicker

Thanks mate! Yes, It is Weltool's most intense LED TAC light
What is the best place to buy Weltool. Any discount codes.
Did you see output drop using this in the 18350 body? Or same output just less run time?
you showed that you could change the body, but can you also change the head and use an LH8 head?
No, the LH series of head will not work on these bodies

Thank you sir! 🙏🏻
WELTOOL bro. It is made better and it is more reliable and it has better light beam with more runtime. Definitely Weltool
@@flashlightcrazy thank you! 🙏🏻
Welcome mate@@utilitac
This or t2 tac. Which do you recommend
T2 tac for more compact, T8 plus Tac for more power and throw
Hi Mike ,
Which Thyrm switchback fit with T8+ tac
Thanks
Is this a well-regulated light?
do they sell tactical rings that would fit this?
If you put this light into the 18650 T8 body, you can fit a thyrm switchback DF onto that.
@@flashlightcrazy amazing
thank you 🙏
I managed to fit a Nextorch ring just below the tailcap.
Lots of grippy knurling!
The grippiest! Haha
