I'm a 56 year old woman who just had a stroke 3 weeks ago, due to high blood pressure (Public Service Announcement: IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU TOO! DON'T NEGLECT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE!) Other than relearning to walk again which is huge, my numb left arm and clenched hand is probably my biggest disability right now and I'm scouring for any help I can to get my life back 100% again, but $350 seems a bit steep for this item. I think I'd prefer a less expensive apparatus that is equally as functional, even if it isn't as entertaining as that sweet, happy lady seems to make it appear. I want to get back to metal detecting which requires lots of bending, kneeling, sitting on the ground, digging while picking through the dirt and fiddling with tools and buttons on the detector, etc...... I'm equally as optimistic that I'll get there again, but I guess I'll keep scouring for something a little ... no, a lot, less expensive, UNLESS insurance covers it! I must admit though, I wish I invented this, but why so expensive?
