I've seen a bunch of videos explaining ki cancelling but most of them weren't very helpful. This one was short and to the point, and it made sense. I kinda wish I could see the controller inputs, but it's no big deal.
I play casually I'm not crazy into it but I see a bunch of nerds complaining about it and this is all it is? It's just an extender, I thought this was just something built in the game for you to use, you know like needing to use every one of your tools to make big combo strings. I was expecting this to showcase some confusing crazy unbeatable for casuals like me horseshit but it's just the game!

By your logic the male earthling combo isn’t bad? Cause it was added in the game for players to do? What about the trunks grapple cheese? That was also added in the game for players?

@@chJohnJobs first of all, it is cheap. Secondly, name a couple games it’s in other than xenoverse cuz I can’t think of any other games that have this exploit.
@@dbzfreak08 Raging blast 2, raging blast 1, tenkaichi series. in terms of cancels themselves, RB 1 and 2 have those but only for specific cast members, as others have unique cancels not limited to just Ki blast. Ki stun however exsists in almost every dragon ball, as attacks on games put someone in hit stun, which opens them up to be combo'ed or hit with a super. besides i can name WAY more cheap stuff in xenoverse that a simple Ki stun. though i can see how annoying it is if its ALL the opponent does
@@chJohnJobs Difference is in this game it’s much worse than any games previously, because in previous games if you shoot a ki blast it keeps place for some time and doesn’t allow you to move immediately afterwards after using it while also consuming no ki at all, and I say this as someone that beats most people that use them
I try to start new combo after last hit in combo with male Saiyan after shooting a ki blast and they jump out. I can never do combo cancel with ki blast. Did they change this or am I doing something wrong??

Ki stun is cheap, ki cancel is fine because you don't really do anything to your opponent, but stunning is so annoying
